Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at various times and in diverse ways spoke long ago to the fathers through the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the world. 3 He is the brightness of His glory, the express image of Himself, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had by Himself purged our sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. 4 He was made so much better than the angels as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.
The finished work for the atonement for man’s sin was completed at the cross and finished at the resurrection of Christ Jesus.
God’s Word now declares that through the years and through many different ways he spoke to man through His prophets , but on today He is speaking through Christ Jesus who is now seated in heaven at the right hand of God the Father.
How does God speak to man today? He does it through His Son, Christ Jesus. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God .
Lord speak for your servant hears! Is this your cry unto the Lord on today? Are you interested in listening and obeying what He has to say to you?
Is the Lord speaking to you on today concerning something He would have you to do? Is He calling you to a more excellent way by faith and hope in and through Him alone?
The God who speaks! The question becomes “are you listening” and what are you going to do with what you are hearing God speak to you?
Lord, speak to our hearts so that we may not only hear but believe and obey your sayings!
Who is speaking? Jesus! Let everything that hath breath hear what the Spirit of God is speaking in this hour in which we live!
