Matthew 28:20b And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
The bible declares that the Word of God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Throughout the bible we see promise after promise of God’s commitment of His everlasting presence with His people.
Jesus made this promise to His disciples after His resurrection and before His ascension back to the Father in heaven. His promises has not and WILL NOT ever change.
People of God, we serve a God who declares to us on today that we will NEVER be forsaken.
Sometimes in life our circumstances will try to convince us that God has forsaken us and we at times believe that He has, but His Word says we are NEVER FORSAKEN . As the saints of old would say “He was there all the time”!
Perhaps the winds and heavy rain in your life may be blowing without relief or maybe the storm may even be raging in your life right now as you read this blog, but the good news in the midst of whatever situation you may find yourself in on today is the fact that you can rest assured that the Lord your God is with you. Yes, He is right there upholding us with His right hand.
I know for a fact and I am a witness that sometimes the pressures of life can make us feel and or even believe that we are going to collapse under it’s weight, but the God I serve has proven Himself over and over again that regardless of what I have or will ever suffer, He is right there by my side working things out for my good.
My God is able to rise up with one hand and lie down with the other. There is NOTHING too hard for my God!
People of God If you feel like giving up because it appears that you are going to collapse under the weight of the pressures of life, I can promise you that in God’s strength you won’t!
People of God If you are wondering what has held you up this long, I want to remind you that it was and still is the Lord our God who is keeping you and sustaining you in the midst of it all. Yes, he is right there with you!
Regardless of what our life may look like right now we will not fear nor be dismay.
As we scan the pages of the Bible we will see that the thought of being forsaken by God is nothing new. God’s own people, the Israel felt forsaken by Him. Remember when the people of Israel were in Egyptian bondage, they too felt that God was left in Jerusalem and no longer with them in captivity. Remember Job in his suffering and what he said in Job 23:3-4 If I knew where to find God, I would go there and argue my case.
God Himself will fight for us and guard us and He will protect us.
What we must understand about God’s presence and His protection is the fact that they do not make us immune from the test and trials of life. No, God’s presence doesn’t mean we won’t ever face the battles of life, but that in the midst of them we can know without a doubt that He is surely with us.
People of God “BE STILL” and know that Lord He is God!
The Lord is good and He is faithful. We are never tempted beyond that which we are able to bear for the Lord our God WILL give us a way of escape from the snares of the enemy.
God will do just what He said in our lives! 2 Peter 3:9-The Lord is not slack concerning His promises.
God is for us and He lives in us by means of His Holy Spirit! Where can we flee from God’s presence? Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast .
People of God, can you see why you can trust God? His Word is a sure foundation. He will not abandon us nor leave us helpless.
Feeling alone and forsaken on today? Ponder this Scripture text over and over again in your mind until it take root in your heart and then tell the devil that you are not alone for the Lord your God, the everlasting God, is with you!
NEVER FORSAKEN! This is the Lord’s promise to His people!
I believe and receive the Word of God as my own today!
Thank You Lord for your promise of your everlasting presence with your people!
Your Servant Debra
I love you Lord!
