Psalm 28:7 The Lord Is My Strength & Shield On This Journey Called "Life"

Psalm 28:7 - The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I was helped; therefore my heart rejoices, and with my song I will thank Him.

In vs#1-5 of this text, David is making his prayer request known unto the God of his salvation, whom he describes as his "Rock". He request of his God to "hear" the voice of his supplication as he lifts up his heart to Him in prayer and to be spared the fate of the wicked ones that are against him.

Having prayed to God in faith and now knowing by faith that God has answered his prayer and heard his "cry for mercy", David breaks out in this confession that is found in vs#7 of this text. "The Lord Is My Strength and my shield".

David reminds us on today that dependence upon God by faith is truly where strength and protection for the journey in life is found.

Psalm 25:3-No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.

Indeed, the heart that truly hope and trust in the Lord shall greatly rejoice.

God bless you and remember that God is just a prayer away. Through faith He promises to hear and answer your prayers.

Psalm 73:24 Lord, Your Counsel Alone Leads To A Glorious Destiny

Psalm 73:24 You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.

The Psalmist here is declaring that He has made up his mind to no longer follow his own way of doing things for God alone guides with counsel which leads to a glorious and eternal destination with Him.

Seeing God's divine wisdom through scripture will give us new vision and the desires to seek Godly counsel and no more self counsel.

Psalm 111:10-The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His instructions have good insight.

The end of our own wisdom is the beginning of God wisdom, which makes us wise.  With God as Counselor, and when we come to Him, we are sure to be led on a journey down the path that God has predestined for us which He promises will lead to a glorious destination.

Psalm 73:26-  My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Precious Lord, take my hand and lead me on to the Light.

God bless and happy Friday.

    for His mercy endures forever.

26 Give thanks unto the God of heaven, for His mercy endures forever.

God bless and do remember to daily give thanks unto the Lord for indeed He is good and I know without a doubt He has been good to you.

Matthew 26:57-74 Jesus Is Denied By Peter Three Times While He Stands Before The High Priest

Matthew 26:57-74 -Those who had seized Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders had assembled. 58 But Peter followed Him from afar to the high priest’s courtyard and went in, and sat with the servants to see the end.

59 The chief priests and the elders and the entire Sanhedrin searched for false witness against Jesus to put Him to death, 60 but they found none. Yes, though many false witnesses came forward, they found none.

At last two false witnesses came forward 61 and said, “This fellow said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’ ”

62 Then the high priest stood up and said to Him, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?” 63 But Jesus remained silent.

The high priest said to Him, “I adjure You by the living God, tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God.”

64 Jesus said to him, “You have said so. But I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

65 Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has uttered blasphemy. What further need do we have for witnesses? See, now you have heard His blasphemy. 66 What do you think?”

They answered, “He is guilty unto death.”

67 Then they spat in His face and struck Him. And others slapped Him with the palms of their hands, 68 saying, “Prophesy to us, You Christ! Who is it that struck You?”

Peter’s Denial of Jesus

69 Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.”

70 But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.”

71 Then when he went out onto the porch, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This man was also with Jesus of Nazareth.”

72 Again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man.”

73 After a while those who stood by came to Peter and said, “Surely you also are one of them, for your accent betrays you.”

74 Then he began to invoke a curse on himself and he swore, “I do not know the Man.”

Then immediately a rooster crowed. 75 Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken, “Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” Then he went out and wept bitterly.

Denying Jesus! Are you denying him before your crowd or circle of friends? Are you denying Him just to fit into the clique with people who care less about you or your eternal destination?

Jesus Himself declares these words in Matthew 12:30 "Anyone who isn't with me opposes me, and anyone who isn't working with me is actually working against me.

Where are you at today concerning Jesus? With Him or against Him?

God bless.

Proverbs 3;5-6 Trust God In All Your Ways

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Facing difficulties, test trials and uncertainty? Trying to figure out what to do in your situation? Wondering which way to turn and what to do?

If you answered yes to these questions, God has the answer for you,. "TRUST ME" is what He is saying to you. Seek Me with your whole heart and you will find me.

When we trust in the Lord our God, and commit our ways unto Him, He will bring every desire, and every good thing to pass in our lives.

The key is that we need to learn to totally trust God and not ourselves.

God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him. When we trust God, He moves on our behalf.

Those of us who choose to put our trust in God has the God of Heaven on our side. Think about that for a moment! God is with us, regardless of what our circumstances in life may look like. That is a promise from Him to you and I on today.

God calls us to lean not unto our understanding. To be honest, we all to some degree think we know what is best for us more than God goes, but God tells us to be not wise in our own eyes.

When we acknowledge God in all our ways, He will direct us in the path in which we should take in life.

What we must remember and understand is that God's path is not the path we would normally take, and God's idea of a straight path is not necessarily our idea of a straight path.

The goal is  learning to trust in God with all our hearts and being prepared to go where He is taking us.

Jeremiah 29:11-For I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, plans to give you hope and a future.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. Give God the steering wheel of our lives.

Lean not unto our own understanding. Do not try to drive ourselves.

In all our ways acknowledge Him. Recognize God for who He is, The Sovereign God.

He will direct your path. God's way is always the right way. Trust Him enough to know that if He created you, He knows where He is taking you. Trust and believe that He alone knows how to clear up the trashy paths we have traveled and make clean the ones we are traveling on.

Confused about which direction to take in life? Trust God for He is your compass in life!

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for being a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path.

I love you all.

2 Corinthians 9:15 - Jesus, The Indescribable Gift

2 Corinthians 9:15 - Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

The Apostle Paul describes Jesus as the "Indescribable Gift" that God has given to the world.

God offered this "Indescribable Gift" to the world over 2k years ago and again today, "The Sovereign God," is making that same offer/plea to the hearts of men, women, boys and girls around the world.

Salvation by grace through faith alone is what's being offered on today by this "Indescribable Gift" name "Jesus" to those who would believe and receive Him on today.

Apart from this Gift, we are all hopeless, lost and sitting in the dark awaiting destruction.

What have you done or what are you doing with the "Gift" that God has offered to you? Have you accepted or rejected Him?

Where do you stand in your relationship with Christ?

Time is winding up! Look around the world and see what is happening. God is calling the people of the world to come to Him on today by faith through Christ Jesus.

Everything is this life is temporary, including our lives. How will you have spent your's?

It is time to wake up out of your sleep! The night is far spent and the day is at hand.

As the Apostle Paul said, I too say "Thanks be to God for His "Indescribable Gift," who is Jesus.

God bless you all.

Matthew 19:14 - God Will Use The Children

Matthew 19:14 - Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Many adults are busy with the issues of the world and living according to the standards of the world, but God will always have a "Ram" in the bush.

God will use the children.

As a matter of fact, scripture declares in Isaiah 11:6b-a little child will lead them all.

There is nothing God can not or will not do for His glory.

This child brought tears to my eyes as I ponder on many adults in the world who refuse to even mention the name of Jesus and yet this baby girl is willing to sing to the world about Him.

Grown people, adults or whatever you want to be called, it is time to stand on the mountain top and proclaim "JESUS"!

God bless the parents of this child that has truly trained her up in the way she should go in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Their labor will not be in vain!

This little girl singing is truly breath taking for me. I love it!!!!

This child is singing to Jesus from the pureness of her heart. Look at Her! God is in this, no doubt about it!

Take at peek at this video below. If your heart is not moved by the power of the Holy Spirit that is speaking through this child, I just do not know what else to say to convince you that God is real.

I pray that if you read this blog on today that God would touch your heart through this little child and draw you to Him on today.

Remember, a child shall lead them and the work has begun in the earth.

God bless!

Matthew 18:1-11 We Must Come To Christ With Humility As A Child

Matthew 18:1-11  At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. 6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!

8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

The point that Jesus makes today is that we ought to humble ourselves before God.

Our world is filled with all kinds of worldly pride, rebellion, and sin against God that causes pride to reign in the hearts of man.

Today, a choice has been laid out before all of us in the Word of God. The choice is to choose or reject Christ.

It is only by humbling ourselves as a child and accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer can we be saved from the penalty of death and eternal separation from God the Father.

Jesus is it! There is no other way to God.  It is by faith in Christ and God's atoning work at Calvary alone.

John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Where do you stand concerning Jesus on today? Have you accepted or rejected Him?

Where are you planning to spend eternity? With God or without God? Your acceptance or denial of Christ will give you your answer to these question.

I pray that Jesus is your choice on today.

God bless and I love you all.

Luke 12:16-34 Seek Ye First The Kingdom

Luke 12:16-34 - And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.

23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?

27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?

29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.

30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

God requires us to seek Him first and everything that we stand in need of, He will provide.

The call today is to "put God first" in your life. Putting Him first proves where your faith, hope and trust lies.

Remember, seek ye first God. You will never regret putting Him first, Ir promise you that.

Trust God on today for He is your only true hope.

God bless you all.

Matthew 18: 21-35 How Often Shall I Forgive My Brother?

Matthew 18:21-35 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. 24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: 33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

If you are withholding forgiveness, I pray that you seek God's help on today and allow His Holy Spirit to help you to forgive those who have hurt or offended you.

God bless you.
