Psalm 25:11 Forgive Us O Lord

bench.jpg

Psalm 25:11 For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

Are you in need of God’s forgiveness? He is just a whisper away, and He is willing to hear and forgive you on today.

Perhaps you are visiting here on today and you have sinned against God in one way or another and you need His forgiveness. God is willing to forgive you of all your sins if you ask Him. There is nothing too hard for God, who loves and care about you.

Regardless of what you have done over the past many years, regardless of what you did last month or last week, regardless of what you did prior to coming to this site even right now, the Lord God wants to forgive you, for He says this concerning you on today “‘Return to me, and I will return to you” (Zep. 1:3).

The lyrics to this song by J Moss says “Forgive me Oh Lord - It's me again. Forgive me Oh Lord - It's me again. I've disobeyed Your Word. I've slipped out of Your Will, Regretful I stand - me again.

Forgive me Oh Lord - It's me again. I've disobeyed Your Word, I've slipped out of Your Will, Remorseful I stand - me again. Forgive me Oh Lord -Forgive me Oh Lord - Send Your mercy down from Glory. Lord please purge me renew me - fix me again

It’s us again Lord! Please forgive us merciful God! No, we haven’t done all you told us to do, but please forgive us Lord!

Today is your day to be set free from all the guilt of your sins that you have been carrying around. God wants to set you free on today, but He can not do it if you do not call on Him. “Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known” (Jer. 33:3).

For Your name’s sake, O Lord, pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

We thank You now, Lord for hearing your servants prayer in Jesus name.

Amen.

Lamentations 3:22-23 Emmanuel Is God With Us

Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed; His compassions do not fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Great is your faithfulness Lord, unto your people! All we have need, your hands have provided. Thank You Lord!

People of God, Emmanual! God is with us! Whatever we went through in 2025, the good times, bad times, heartaches, and pains, we were never alone. God was with us as Emmanuel!

Today, I want to remind us that whatever is ahead for us in this new year, God will continue to be with us. The same Emmanual is still walking with us, and talking to us even now. Be encourged!

People of God, say this to yourself, “Emmanuel, God is with me!”

I leave you with this truth: God clothes you in His righteousness and He bore our (MY) sin on the cross. No matter what he allows in our life, we am never alone! God is with us!

God bless you all!

Psalm 86:11- Is It Your Desire To Be Taught Of God And Walk In His Truth

Psalm 86:11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I will walk in Your truth;bind my heart to fear Your name.

In this Psalm, David asked God to "teach him his way so that he may be able to walk in God's truth and to direct his heart to reverence and submission to God alone".

God has a lot to say about which path we should take in this life. There is only two paths and each of us are on one or the other by choice.

Let's look at the different paths in life we are told to take and not to take and where each one leads. Both paths are listed in the old and the new Testaments. Let's listen.

Old Testament:

Proverbs 4:14-17 Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not go in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and pass on.16 For they do not sleep unless they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

New Testament:

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter at the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who are going through it,14 because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

We are given a choice as to which path God prefers for us to take and which path we choose to take.

David's prayer and his desire is to take the path that God desires for all of us. The path that leads to righteousness and life everlasting with Him.

David is being honest with himself and with God in admitting that he was unable to clearly hear from God and that his heart was disconnected from God and that he wanted to reconnect with God so that he may be able to worship, fellowship and commune  with God with his whole heart in spirit and in truth.

Because of our sin nature, we have been disconnected from God and we are in need of being reconnected back to Him through faith in Christ Jesus and His Word that is written in His bible.

Whatever it is that is hindering you from a personal relationship with God on today, do as David did in asking God through prayer to remove everything that is hindering you from having a personal relationship with Him.  Pray and ask God for forgiveness of your sins and ask God to unite your heart with His through the power of His Word and His Holy Spirit.

When we have truly given up the fight against God, He will teach us His way, He will help us walk in His way by with the leading of the Holy Spirit's guidance and He will put the desire in our hearts to reverence, worship and serve Him with our whole heart in spirit and in truth.

Let our daily prayer to God the Father be that He keep our hearts united with His so that we may do that which is pleasing and acceptable in His sight.

Is it your desire to be taught of God and walk in His truth? If so, cry out to God in prayer and He will do just that for you.

God bless you all.

Psalm 118:5-6 God Says "Trust Me" Even When It Makes No Sense

Psalm 118:5-6 I called upon the Lord from my distress; the Lord answered me and set me in an open place. 6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can people do to me?

The Psalmist, David was in great distress when he prayed this heart felt prayer unto the Lord.

Because of David's personal prayer life and personal relationship with God, he was able to boldly confess that "the Lord was on his side and he will not fear man or what he can do to him".

Enemies on your trial? Trouble on every hand? Have you been there before? Are there now? God says to you and I, " seek my face and trust Me".

God is a Deliverer and Defender of His people. Psalm 45:15-The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.

No matter what is happening in your life, the call is to “TRUST GOD”! "Trust Me, Trust Me" is God response to His people on today.

As my Pastor, Rev. Isaac J. Holt, Jr. says "HIM ABLE!"

Psalm 37:1-3 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be jealous of those who do injustice. 2 For they will quickly wither like the grass, and fade like the green herbs. 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good.

God says trust me and I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will fight your battles, so trust me!

TRUST "ME” says the Lord is the faith call on today people of God. TRUST HIM!

The battle has been fought and the victory has been won by God in heaven. He alone has all power.

TRUST GOD!

God bless you all.

Galatians 6:7-8 Sowing To The Spirit Or To The Flesh?

Galatians 6:7-8 Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

The Apostle Paul starts off by saying "do not be deceived". In other words, do not be mislead, do not be trapped into wrong thinking by believing that you can trick or deceive God concerning the life you live for our life is a open book before God.

The fruit which I reap will be consistent with the seed I have sown. I cannot live my life one way and expect to receive a different kind of reward. I cannot walk this earth the way I please and expect God to be pleased in the end.

What are you sowing? Is it the Word of God? Is it the love of God? Are you sowing your time, talent, resources in kingdom building?  Are you praying for others, are you serving where there is a need? What is it that you are sowing?

This text is a warning and a reminder that I must watch what kind of seeds I am sowing and that I should remember that in all I am doing, I am sowing seeds and that I will reap the harvest of the seeds I have sown. Apple for apple and banana for banana, nothing different.

Have you convinced yourselves that you can live your life daily in disobedience, disrespect and rejection of God and His word and reap God's heaven when we die?

BE NOT DECEIVED! This is your warning to seek out truth that can only be found in God's Word.

Let me leave you with this quote. You are free to make the choice, but you are NOT free from the consequences of the seeds you sow.

God bless and heed the warning of the Apostle Paul on today for these words will help save your life.

Luke 15:11-24 It Is Time To Return To The Father

Luke 15:11-24 -11 Then He said, “A man had two sons. 12 The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the property that falls to me.’ So he divided his estate between them.

13 “Not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together, and journeyed to a distant country, and there squandered his possessions in prodigal living. 14 When he had spent everything, there came a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in want. 15 So he went and hired himself to a citizen of that county, who sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 He would gladly have filled his stomach with the husks that the swine were eating, but no one gave him any.

17 “When he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have an abundance of bread, and here I am perishing with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’ 20 So he arose and came to his father.

“But while he was yet far away, his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran and embraced his neck and kissed him.

21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him. And put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet. 23 Bring here the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and be merry. 24 For this son of mine was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ So they began to be merry.

Is God looking down the road to see if you too are on the road that leads back home to where He is?  I have no doubt that He is not only looking, but He is calling you back home to the Father's house.

Yes, God is calling you for it is time for you to return to God. He is even willing to run down the road and meet you once your foot steps begins to head His way.

Remember, no man knows the day nor the hour when their last breath will be drawn. I urge you to repent of your sins and return to God on today.

God makes a promise that when you return on today, there will be a celebration not only in earth, but a greater celebration in heaven over your return back to the Father.

Let's listen to Luke 15:7-Likewise, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous men who need no repentance.

Oh, what a day of rejoicing it will be on the day of your return to the Father.

God is still looking down the road for you, hoping to see you in His view.

God bless.

Matthew 11:28-30 Feeling Weary On Today? God Is Calling You To Rest In Him

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.[a] 30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

In the world today, in the hustle and bustle of life, we all deal with issue that tries to weight us all down to some degree. But, in spite of them, God offers us hope on today.

Whatever the cause is for your need of spiritual rest, God is inviting you to that place of rest for your weary soul on today. “REST” that is not found in anything or anyone else but HIM.

The call to true "REST" is only found in the saving of our souls.

As humans, we have a tendency to look to other people and places first and use God as a last resort, but God is saying to us on today that He is our first and only option to true rest for our souls.

There is a “PROMISED” place of peace and quietness that Jesus is invites all to come. This place is called “Salvation” through Christ Jesus alone.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;6 in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

The invitation is to “COME, TAKE AND LEARN”.

Oh what an invitation on today that Christ offers to all who would “Come” and trust Him by faith.

He promises that if we come, He will give us rest from the struggles, worry, stress, sorrow and sins of life.

He promises to receive us and not condemn us.

In need of rest for your weary soul on today? Jesus is the answer!

God bless you.

Matthew 6:33 Get Your Priorities In Order

Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you.

This text is part of what is known as Jesus “Sermon On The Mount.”

The call today is to get our "priorities" in order by "Putting God "First" in our lives.

In this part of His sermon Jesus drives home His point which says “do not worry, but instead, seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.”

Seek the kingdom of God first!  Seek the rule and reign of Christ on the throne of your heart. This is the kingdom that Jesus is calling us to seek on today. Seek to know Christ, seek to know His will for our lives and obey it.

We as humans have a tendency to seek and put before God everything imaginable and all of them last but for a little while.

Proverbs 14:12- There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.

Anything that is not adding to your spiritual growth is hindering it and affecting your relationship with God and His purpose for your life.

It is not enough to just seek God, but to seek Him “first”. First means first. How do you seek Him? By faith through His Word and prayer.

Life is uncertain, time is short, therefore, we need to attend to the matter of making God first “priority” in our lives an urgent matter.

Until we put God “first” in our lives, we will never be satisfied. We can shop and buy all we want, we can take one vacation after another, we can seek one career after another, we can do this and we can do that, but we will still be empty and find our self still needing more and more “stuff.”

"But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence” (Jer. 17:7, NIV)

We will never know the full reward of obedience until we put God "first.”

Where does God fit in your life? Is He first? If not, who is?

God bless you all.

Philippians 3:13-14 Forgetting The Past and Reaching Towards The Future With Christ

Philippians 3:13-14 -  Brothers, I do not count myself to have attained, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press towards the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

2015 is gone and will never return. We can no longer grab a hold of it. It is time to continue moving forward with confidence and assurance in Christ Jesus, for there is a prize to be won, only by looking forward unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith .

The Apostle Paul declares in this text that he has not made it on his own. In viewing his past he knew that if it had not been for the Lord, he would not be where he was at the time of his writing this text.

The call today is to forget all those past hurts, pains, failures, disappointments, rejection, lies that were told on you, regretful things, misunderstanding, and all those bad past experiences of 2015. Let them go!!! You cannot change the past!

What’s in your past that God is calling you away? In order for you to move forward into that place that God has destined for you to be, you have got to let go of the past! Leave it behind!! Is it worth holding on to? No, it is a hinderance. You can not drive looking back, ,because you will wreck. What is it that you are holding on to that is causing you to delay where God is trying to take you?

I have purposed in my heart and mind that 2015 will not be my focus in 2016. Christ goals for my life is my goal for my life, therefore, I am not looking back.

The life of a new creation in Christ Jesus cannot be lived looking back, but pressing forward to the goal of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Forgetting the past and reaching toward the future with Christ in view is where I am headed in 2016. What about you?

God bless and I love you all.

John 10:1-18 Jesus Is The Gate That The Sheep Must Enter Into

John 10:1-18 -Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

God bless you all.
