Ephesians 2:8-9 Salvation By Grace Through Faith Alone

Ephesians 2:8-9 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

I will not assume that every visitor that comes to this site has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, but in obedience to the Spirit’s leading I am sharing this message.

The world is in peril, and it’s time to come to Jesus! Today is the day! Now is the acceptable time!

The Apostle Paul’s Epistle to the Ephesians was addressed to a predominantly Gentile audience, with Gentile meaning non-Jewish people. This call to accept God’s salvation by grace through faith is for all of humanity, Jews and Gentiles.

To receive this gift you only need to be a beggar who knows that your spirit and soul is hungry for something greater than yourself, or what man or society can offer you.

I leave you all with these truths on today. (1) you are loved, chosen and spiritually rich because of Jesus. (2) The Holy Spirit is our seal or deposit that promises our future inheritance with God n heaven. (3) By accepting Jesus on today, the Holy Spirit sealed you with a promise. The Holy Spirit is God's down payment that secures our eternal inheritance in heaven.

If you accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior today, I say unto you that “more joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repented, than over ninety and nine just persons who need no repentance" (Luke 15:7 NIV).

I look forward to hearing your testimony!

Please leave a comment below, so I can pray for you".

God Bless!

Psalm 119:11 Thy Word Have I Hid In My Heart

Psalm 119:11 Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

How can we “hide” God’s word in our heart? Well, let’s start with the definition of “hidden” in the original Hebrew bible. The word ‘hidden” means “to treasure, to regard as highly valued, to hide, keep, save up, store.

I believe that hiding God’s word in our hearts start with focusing and depending not on human wisdom, but on the Divine wisdom of God. Indeed, the word of God is the manual for guiding our thoughts, actions, our hearts, and our faith.

Hiding God’s word in our heart is a deliberate act, and will of the mind. An internal process that goes beyond simple reading.

The Bible is our ultimate, trustworthy standard for our conduct, attitude, belief, faith, and life.

God is one with His Word. God is the author and His word (scripture) is the written revelation we intentionally hide in our hearts through active study, meditation, and journaling.

Hiding God’s word in our hearts is a daily process of the mind that protects us from willingly sinning against God.

Looking for peace of mind in the stormy seas of life? Hide God’s word in your heart.

God bless!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 The Signs Of The Times

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

The world affairs are proof that the world is in transition according to Biblical Prophecy. THE END IS NOT YET!

TIME: It's in God's hand, not man! Matthew 24:6: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come" (Matt. 24:6, NIV).

God's time is not man's time! God is the creator of time, not mere man. "So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it" (Is. 55:11, ESV).

People of God, time is in God's hand!

Happy 1st Sunday of February!

God bless!

James 1:2-3 Is Your Faith Being Tested

James 1:2-3 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.

‍The Apostle James, who is the leader of the Jerusalem church, is writing this letter to early Christians who were scattered abroad due to many test and trials. James encourages them to find joy in these trials!

The reason these trials are to be considered grounds for joy is because they are capable of developing perseverance in the life of the believer. Our test and trials are not a test of our worth, but our faith in Jesus.

Faith that is being tested says “Lord, I don’t understand the severity of the pain and suffering, but my trust is in you, and I know you are going to work this for my good.”

No, persecution does not feel good, but we are reminded that God allows it, and He uses it to work for our good!

When God has brought us through the pain, struggles and suffering we were forced to endure, we have a testimony of how we were strengthen from it. No, it did not feel good when we were in it, but we can now use it as a testament to our faith, God’s faithfulness in the midst of it, and our opportunity to use it to encourage one another.

People of God, never give up! Why? God, who is Emmanuel is with us!

 God bless.

Mark 8:36 Is Your Soul Right With God

Mark 6:36 For how is a man benefited if he should gain the whole world and lose his soul?”

Is your soul right with God? This is a question all of humanity must ask ourselves. We must never allow this question to depart from our mind, and we must never allow anything to keep us from answering and responding to it daily.

Believe it or not, but the “SOUL” is the part of a human that lives on eternally after physical death.

Having a right relationship with God begins with acknowledging our sin, and  a humble confession of our sins in repentance to God.

If you are visiting here on today and you know that your “SOUL" is not right with God, you can get it right even now. Yes, that’s right! It can start right now with acknowledging your sins, and then making a humble confession (repentance) of your sin to God. He already knows our sins, but He wants us to confess them.

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Rom. 10:9, ESV).

Our souls are priceless treasures of infinite worth. Our soul last forever. Every soul has the potential to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

To lose our soul would be a tragic loss because after death, we don’t get a second chance.

Are you gambling with your soul? To lose it to this world would be a foolish, and fatal tragedy. Give it to Jesus, who saves it and keeps it for all of eternity.

God bless all of you!

Matthew 26:41 Jesus Commands Us To Pray

Matthew 26:41 - Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

What is Prayer?

Simply put! Prayer is communion between God and man. It is talking with God. It is making our request know unto God in Faith. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matt. 7:7, NIV).

Three Important Prayers: Faith-Praise -Thanksgiving

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mk. 11:24, NIV).

Praising and thanking God reflect one’s grateful attitude toward God. “ Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thes. 5:16-18, NLT).

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Phil. 4:6, NIV).

People of God, I end with this! “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (Jas. 5:16, NIV).

2 Kings 20:1-5 The Power Of Prayer

2 kings 20:1-5-In those days Hezekiah became ill and was near death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.” 2 Then he turned his face toward the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3 “Please, O Lord, remember how I have walked before You faithfully and with an undivided heart and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 Now before Isaiah had come out of the middle courtyard, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 5 “Turn back and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people: Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. I will heal you. .

Hezekiah, a faithful king, becomes "sick unto death." The prophet Isaiah delivers a difficult message to the king. "Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die". Sickness and trials are part of the human condition, regardless.

In response to Isaiah message, King Hezekiah turns to the One who can help him. Scripture says that Hezekiah turns his face towards the wall, which is a sign of moving all distractions so that he could focus entirely on the Lord His God.

King Hezekiah response to this news given him by the Prophet Isaiah was so profound, he not only turned his face to the wall, but he wept bitterly, and prayed to the Lord His God, and reminded Him of how he walked faithfully before Him with wholehearted devotion, and that He had faithfully done what he believed was right in God’s eyes.

In response to this heartfelt prayer to the Lord His God, King Hezekiah was granted an additional fifteen years of life by God.

As the Prophet Isaiah was leaving the King’s court, God spoke to him and told him to “go back and tell Hezekiah, whom God described as the “Ruler of His people, this is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord, and I will add fifteen years to your life.”

Prayer is powerful, and it makes a difference in every situation we face in life. No situation is too small or too big for our God.

Our God not only heals, but He hears and answers our prayers.

People of God, our sincere heartfelt prayers are heard by the Lord our God, and as He healed King Hezekiah, He can work a miracle for us also. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever! Our God changes not!

Our lives and times are in God’s Hand.  Our God is the author and finisher of life. He alone is capable of extending time and providing second chances.  Will you trust Him on today?

I do not know what your story is today, but I do know that we serve a God that is able to do “exceedingly and abundantly above all we could ask or think according to his power that worketh in us” (Eph. 3:20, NIV).

People of God, seek the Lord while He may be found! Call upon Him while He is near!

God bless you all and thank you for stopping by and enjoying the ride here with Jesus on tonight!

God bless!

Romans 12:2 The Year of New Beginnings Is Here

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

If we could change anything about ourselves, where would we start? I have no doubt it would not be inward, but this is the place where we do need to start, but do not want to start. All of us!

A transformed life in 2026  begins with changing our thoughts, which then influences our actions, habits, and overall life. We must renew our minds and engage in self-examination guided by God's word.

The Apostle Paul reminds us of this truth in the text above.  The situation around us will remain the same, until something within us changes.

What are your plans for 2026? Are you headed in a new direction with God? Is a year of renewal in 2026 your goal, or a year of the same old thing?

As for me, I am headed in a new direction with God. I want more of Him! If it means letting go of some people, things, thoughts, actions, and or ideas, so be it. My goal is Christ!

I end with this: In 2026, I am personally committed to a faith journey with God, that will allow me to pursue a deeper relationship with Him. What about you? Are you headed in a new direction with the Lord this year?

God bless you all, and Happy New Year!

Hebrews 12:1-2 Stay In The Race

Hebrews 12:1-2 – Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

The writer of this text uses the illustration of a race to explain how Christians are to live their lives. Like runners in a race, we should never give up and quit, but daily make a commitment to faithfully follow Christ.

This Christian race is no ordinary race for it is the most serious competition we will ever enter in in our lifetime.  This race determines whether we live or die, whether we spend eternity with God or apart from God, therefore,  regardless of the struggle we must run and we must  run with the mindset to win.

The world runs for a corruptible crown, but we as believers run for the incorruptible crown of righteousness that God will give to all that believe at the end of their race.

We all have a race to run! Remember, "stay in the race"! Keep running, keep serving and praising God, keep loving your enemy and those that spitefully use you.

God bless and tell the Lord thank you for giving us the strength to run this Christian race with patience.

God bless.

1 Peter 5:7 Give It To God

cares.jpg

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.

Cast= epiriptó in the greek and defined as  I throw (cast upon), as of cares. To throw away, throw off.

Cares=merimna in the greek and is defined as  care, worry, anxiety, concern.

Fears, worries, anxiety, stress, uncertainty about your future, difficult circumstances, painful situations that appears to be impossible and hard? Throw them off of you and give them to God.

Whatever it is that you are dealing with on today God's people, the call from God to you is to "cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you."

Casting all my cares on God. What is God trying to tell us?  He is trying to tell you and I to let go of trying to be in full control of our lives and it's affairs.

People of God, we MUST release, let go and trust God through the leading of His Holy Spirit to guide and direct us along life's journey. We can't do it ourselves!

There is peace that surpass all understanding that is available to us through Christ Jesus, even when there may be times in our lives when the struggles and tests of life may be anything but peace be still.

There is a calm assurance that is being offered on today through faith in Christ Jesus alone. This peaceful assurance comes only from God through a personal relationship with Christ Jesus.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (Jn. 14:27, NIV).

The Apostle Paul reminds us of this truth: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Rom. 8:28, NIV).

What are you going through this morning? What is causing you to worry and feel burden down with anxiety and fear?

Let it Go! Give it ALL to God for He is willing to carry your heavy load.

I surrender all to you! Withholding nothing!

God bless.
