Galatians 6:7-Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap.
The Apostle Paul warns all of us in this text "be not deceived." Be not lead astray by ourselves or anyone else into thinking that a lie is truth and truth is a lie.
Because of deception, many have been lead to believe that the Gospel is a lie.
Satan deceived eve in the garden into believing that God said one thing when He said another.
Many today are still being deceived into believing the lies of satan and denying the truth of God's Word.
Many have been lead to believe that they can live any way they want to, do what they want to whomever they want, it did not matter if they willfully practice a lifestyle of evil and are wicked in their hearts, all they have to do is trust in their good works and not in Christ by faith and they are on their way to heaven. IT IS A LIE FROM SATAN!! IT IS CALLED DECEPTION!!
Be not deceived into thinking that we can work out our soul salvation. The price for our sins has already been paid by Christ Jesus over 2k years ago. All we have to do is believe it by faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, 9 not of works, so that no one should boast
Deception is real! The sad part about is the fact that many are not even aware of how they are being deceived on a daily basis by satan to believe and operate in his lies instead of God's truth.
The world is filled with people who have been deceived, people who think that the lie is the truth and the truth is the lie. That is why so few people care anything about the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They have been deceived into thinking that the Gospel is the lie.
When one is mocking God, they turn up their nose or sneer at Him. That is what they do when they have been deceived. They sneer and laugh at God. They make fun of God.
There is danger in being lead away in our mind to a place of deceiving ourselves into thinking that we can sin and do whatever we want to do and that there would be no consequences.
God is not mocked! To mock God is to disrespect, dishonor, ignore and deny His existence.
There are consequences for ignoring God and willfully choosing sin.
The Word of God must be lived out in our lives. Talking one thing and living another? You will reap what you sow!
Man can ignore, disobey, discredit, deny, reject curse, disrespect God and His "Word" all he wants, but there is no exception to God's written Word.
In spite of what or whom we choose to believe or believe in, the "WORD" of God stands.
God and His Word are one. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Merry go round! In other words, what goes around, comes around. Remember, deception is real!
Remember the Word of the Lord our God on today. He is not to be mocked for what you sow is what you will reap!
