Ephesians 5:15-17 Live Your Life As Wise And Not As A Fool

Ephesians 5:15-17-MEV- See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise men, 16 making the most of the time because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

The writer of this text send forth a strong warning to the people of God. "Be very careful how you live your life, but most of all, know the will of God for your life and live it out."

Living a life of wisdom starts with a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ by faith.

What really mattes in life is what God sees. It is God who searches the heart, it is God who judges man according to the issues of his or her heart for scripture declares these words in Luke 6:45-A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

To walk wisely means to walk by faith according to the leading of God's Holy Spirit who leads and guides us on God's path of truth and righteousness for His name sake.

We will never walk the path of "wisdom" or even know how to get where God wants us to be without God's Word.

Proverbs 2:6-8 All wisdom comes from the Lord, and so do common sense and understanding. 7 God gives helpful advice[a] to everyone who obeys him and protects all of those who live as they should. 8 God sees that justice is done,  and he watches over everyone who is faithful to him.

Psalm 14:1-A fool says in his heart that there is no God. A "fool", one who does not fear God or man lives according to what is right in his or her own eyes and ends up in a ditch.

Our enemy, satan is a  liar, a deceiver, crafty and he is very dangerous. He seeks to destroy our soul. 1 Peter 5:8-Be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Be ye "Wise" through the lense of scripture and not your own eyes.

Living a life of a "fool" is not an option for the believer. Our only choice is "wise" in the eyes of God by making godly choices and using the time that God has allot us here in our short stay here on earth to bring glory and honor to God alone.

With the help of God's Holy Spirit we can be lead on a straight course and live a life that honors God and gives light to this dark and evil world in which we live.

People of God, the world is watching us who confess Christ, therefore "wise" must be our walk so that we can reflect Christ and be effective witnesses in the earth of God's saving  "Grace."

Everyone of us is either living our lives as "wise" or as a "fool."

Where do you draw the line? Does a life of a "fool" stops with you?

God bless.
