Genesis 3:12-13 The Blame Game

Genesis 3:12-13 The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.”

13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What have you done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

We all know the story of our first parents, Adam and Eve and how sin entered into the world. Yes, they started what is known today as the "blame game" because they did not want to take responsibility for their disobedience to God.

Who are you blaming for your sin problems? Who in your family or your relationship is suffering the consequences of your sinful choices? Is it your spouse, your children, your marriage, your parents, etc.?

Believe it or not, but God can heal us from the blame game.

To be healed, we must admit that we are sinners in need of a "Savior." We must acknowledge and accept responsibility for our sins. We must admit that we can not fix ourselves and that we need God's help.

If we are willing to admit, confess and take responsibility for our sins, God's grace is sufficient for us and is able to cleanse us from all of our unrighteousness and we can begin a new life in Him through Christ Jesus.

Over 2k years ago, God made "GRACE" available to all of us at the Cross. Yes, it is at the cross where Jesus shed His blood to take away the sins of the world. It is at the cross where God's amazing "GRACE" awaits all of us.

If you want to blame someone, blame Jesus for taking on ALL of our sins and remembering them no more, once we by faith accept God's atoning work that was done on our behalf at the cross.

Are you in need of God's "GRACE" and mercy on today? We all are!

Remember when there appears to be no hope from the blame game, there is "GRACE"!

God bless.
