Ephesians 5:15-16 5 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
Redeeming the time! In this text we are reminded to be careful of how we live our lives. Take advantage of the opportunity to live as one who is pleasing in the Lord’s sight.
Redeem the time! Is this what you find yourself doing daily? Where do you stand concerning the wise and the foolish?
Are you walking in the wisdom of God's Word which makes one wise, or are you walking in the ways of a fool doing your own thing?
The time in which we now live is perilous and the days are evil. How we spend our time in making wise decisions based on wisdom found in God's Word concerning our everyday life is of necessity for all of us.
Time is priceless and once time is lost, it can not be regained. Therefore, making the best of the time God has given us should be a priority for all of us, and in doing so we would be counted among the wise and not fools.
Life is short and when it is gone, it is gone. The Apostle James describes life this way in James 4:14- What do you know about tomorrow? How can you be so sure about your life? It is nothing more than mist that appears for only a little while before it disappears.
Redeem the time for soon it will be gone. I hope we all would heed this word of God that is being sent forth around the world from heaven to every man, woman, boy and girl around the world.
Redeem the time! Now is the time to come to Jesus. No more excuses!!
God bless!
