Hebrews 10:23 "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

People of God, this text reminds us that God keeps His word because He has a proven track record of faithfulness.

Every day, we wake up to a world that feels different. Culture shifts, social standards bend, and laws rewrite the landscape of our lives overnight. If we anchor our hearts, families, and peace to the patterns of this world, we will constantly find ourselves spiritually seasick. When everything is drifting, how do we stand still on shifting sand?

People of God, I have listed 3 ways in which we can maintain connection with our God in a changing world.

Consistent prayer: Allows us direct access to our “Unchanging God by aligning our hearts with heaven when earth is in turmoil.

Fellowship with God and one another through Christian fellowship. Like trees with interconnected roots, we are able to weather life’s storms when we remain grounded and connected to one another in our local churches.

The Holy Spirit who indwells us. He is our supernatural guide who provides us with inner strength when it feels like we can not take another step because the world’s compass is spinning out of control.

People of God, when everything else shifts, lean on God’s track record. If He kept us through the shifting sand of yesterday, He is well able to hold us steady today.

Jesus is our anchor! Hold fast to Him for He is the “anchor” of our souls. Yes, He is also the One who is a faithful promise keeper.

Be encouraged! God is still orchestrating the world’s affairs.

He who has promise is faithful!
