2 Timothy 3:12 Anchored In The Shipwreck Of Our Minds

2 Timothy 3:12- Yes, and all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

When hardship hits, our first thought is often, "Where did I go wrong?" We ask ourselves if God is punishing us. We wonder if we missed His map. But our text today reminds us that suffering is not a detour off the road to God’s will. It is the main highway.

Paul does not say some may struggle. He says everyone who wants to walk closely with Jesus will face resistance. Too often we see suffering and persecution as a personal attack from the outside world.

But guess what? Suffering brings a divine companion. His name is Jesus! No, God does not leave us when the road gets rough. He is not on the sidelines. He is riding with us right through the storm.

Our pain is part of the process of being shaped like Jesus. God is calling us to view testing not as abandonment, but as an invitation. This difficult road is your opportunity to encounter God’s guidance in your life in a brand-new light.

What is your pain today? Do you believe that God can bring you through it? The Apostle Paul suffered greatly for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, yet God used his chains and trials to write these words to encourage you and me today.

If God could sustain Paul through a physical shipwreck, He can surely carry you and me through the shipwreck of our minds right now.

People of God, be encouraged today! We are not walking this road alone. God is with us! Yes, Emmanuel (God with us) is with us!
