Proverbs 19:20 Seek Wise Counsel And Instructions

Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise.

Proverbs 19:20-NLT  Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life.

Our eyes are meant to read God’s words and our ears are meant to hear it. There is no "wise counsel" apart from God and His Word for they are one.

The wise man listens to godly advice, accepts instruction continually, and proactively seeks out wise counsel.

Psalm 1:1-Seek not counsel from the ungodly.   Seek Godly council from those season saints who you know walk with the Lord.

What we do today determines what we will become tomorrow.

Psalm 90:12-So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.

If we do as we are commanded in this text to listen to godly advice and accept discipline, at the end of our lives we will be counted among the wise and not the fools who have rejected wise counsel and instructions.

God bless.

Job 14:5 Our Last Breath

Job 14:5-A person's days are determined; you have decreed the number of his months and have set limits he cannot exceed.

As sure as we are born, we are promised to also one day die.

The question to be answered by all of us is when we have breathe our last breath, will we be ready to meet Christ? Will we have prepared while we lived to one day meet Him?

Hebrews 9: 27-28- As it is appointed for men to die once, but after this comes the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to save those who eagerly wait for Him.

How do we prepare to one day meet Christ? 1 John 2:28- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at his coming.

Nothing is promised, including tomorrow. Here today and possibly gone tomorrow. We do not know when our time her on earth will end, but, one thing we do know is the fact that is it is short.

James 4:14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.

As I often heard when I was growing up, I say to all of us on today "only what we do for Christ will be what matters at the end of our life here on earth and in eternity."

James 4:10-Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.

I urge everyone of us on today to not trust truth according to what is right in our own eyes, but by what is written in the Word of God is the final authority.

We all have room for improvement in our relationship with Christ!

When our last breath is drawn, will we be ready to meet Jesus? If not, I urge you to start today.

Contrary to what the world and society may try to make you believe, the pleasures of this world and life for all of us will one day end. Earth is our temporary journey to our eternal destination.

Prepare today while it is yet today for one day we all will take our last breath.

God bless.

Psalm 19:10-11 PRICELESS

Psalm 19:10-11 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is Your servant warned, and by keeping them comes great reward.

"Priceless"! It is what the Word of God is.

The Psalmist declares that the Word of God is more valuable than much gold and it is sweeter than honey from the honeycomb.

The Word of God is indeed "PRICELESS" for throughout scripture we can clearly see the miracle working power of it in the lives of God's people in the bible and among us even on today.

If you are alive and reading this blog right now, you are a miracle. Many people did not wake up today, some that did can not see, hear, speak, walk or do anything for themselves, but yet, God spared you and allowed you the use of all your limbs and a right mind.  THAT IS A MIRACLE IN ITSELF, therefore, you should have the Word of God in your mouth on today and everyday.

Not only does the Psalmist describes the word of God as "PRICELESS" He says it is more valuable and precious than much of the finest pure gold.

Gold has become much value to many people today. In comparison to gold, what value has the Word of God in your life?

Nothing is sweeter than the Word of God. The Psalmist says "they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honey comb."

What value does the Word of God have in our lives? When we hear the Word of God teach and preach among us, do we eat it for nourishment for our souls or do we chew it and spit it out?

"PRICELESS" is the Word of God! Sweeter than honey from the honey comb is the Word of God.

Have you eaten it yet today? If not,  your soul will starve to death.

God bless.

Mark 2:10-12 FORGIVENESS

Mark 2:10-12 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, rise, and take up your bed, and go your way to your house.” 12 Immediately he rose, picked up the bed, and went out in front of them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

Jesus alone has the power and authority to forgive sin.

Forgiveness-aphesis in the greek. In english it means deliverance, pardon, complete forgiveness, a sending away, a letting go, a release, pardon, complete forgiveness.

Throughout the bible we see how Jesus offered forgiveness of sins over and over again to so many people.

Forgiveness! Have you yet to come to the realization that you desperately need God's forgiveness on today? Have you been searching for it?

If we all could be honest with ourselves for a moment and search deep down in our soul, we all would not only realize, but acknowledge that we all are in desperate need of God's forgiveness of our sins.

Today, there is no need to continue your search for the things of this world , other people nor money for forgiveness, true peace, joy, happiness, fulfillment and eternal rest for our weary soul for we won't find it there.

JESUS IS IT! He is the only highway leading to heaven. John 14:6-Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

All the chaos and uncertainty in the world today is pointing us to, and reminding us to look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.

God is still offering forgiveness of sins. Yes,  it is available to you and everyone else who is willing to believe and receive by faith, His Son Jesus Christ as your Savior and Redeemer.

1 John 1:9-If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Today, God promises not only to forgive  and cleanse you of every sin, past, present and future, but He also promises you that they will be remembered no more.

If you are willing to confess your sins and receive forgiveness of your sins, here is God's promise to you in Micah 7:19-I will have ·mercy [compassion] on you again;  I will conquer your sins. I will ·throw away [hurl; cast] all your sins into the ·deepest part [depths] of the sea.

WOW! What a mighty God!

God bless.

Psalm 121:1-8 The Lord God Is Your Helper

Psalm 121:1-8  I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

God bless.

Matthew 11:28-”JESUS” Is Rest For The Weary

Matthew 11:28-Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me. For I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.[c] 30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

“Come” in this text means to leave what you are doing and start moving towards God through Christ in your heart.

Jesus is calling you. The invitation is "COME" and bring all your problems, troubles, tears, fears, cares to Him for He alone is a guaranteed place of rest for your weary soul.

There is nothing none of us can do that would merit us a place in eternity. Accepting God by faith through Jesus Christ is the only way.

Jesus' promise to every man, woman, boy and girl on today is if you "COME" to Him, you will find "REST."  That is God's personal promise to you on today.

How will  you respond to the call to "COME"?

If you choose to continue to carry your yoke of bondage and not give it to Jesus, unbelief will cause you to not only remain in bondage, but to remain "RESTLESS" from that unnecessary yoke of bondage to sin that is daily tormenting and weighing you down.

Will you cast your cares on Jesus today? If you do, He promises to not only give us His yoke which is easy, but He also promises to lighten the burden.

Will you do  “COME” to Jesus right now in your heart? If you do, He will save you right now if you would only believe and trust Him.

Are you restless? I know you are!

"COME" to Jesus just now!

"REST" for your weary soul awaits your obedience.

'COME" now for Jesus is calling you.

Love is waiting, mercy is waiting, joy is waiting, peace is waiting for you. "COME TO JESUS!

GOD BLESS.

Isaiah 5:20 WOE UNTO YOU

Isaiah 5:20- Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who exchange darkness for light and light for darkness; who exchange bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and cleaver or smart in their own sight!

The one who chooses evil over good, bitterness over sweetness will experience the painful consequences of their choices and the one who chooses "God' s truth and sweetness" will experience His good pleasure.

The people of Judah, who were in exile, to whom Isaiah is preaching, have rebelled against God and refused to get right with Him. They rejected truth and accepted a lie as truth.

"WOE" to the people and nations that calls evil actions good, those who exchange light for dark and those who exchange sweet for bitter. Those who are wise in their own eyes, those whose finite minds are puffed up with a a high opinion of their own wisdom and despise the counsel and instructions of God.

Are we at this place in America in our relationship with God? "WOE" to us if we are.

The time to come back to Jesus is now! We are being called to no longer live in a state of a hardened heart and willful sin and rebellion against God.

America, no more living according to what is right in our own eyes for now is the time to live our lives according to God's truth that is written in His Word.

America, God is calling us back to Him and His way of life and living.

It is my heart's  prayer that we as a nation will accept God's truth on today for scripture declares that if we do not, "WOE UNTO US"!

God bless.

Psalm 96:1-13 O Sing Unto The Lord Always

Psalm 96:1-13 O sing unto the Lord a new song; sing unto the Lord, all the earth! 2 Sing unto the Lord, bless His name; declare His salvation from day to day. 3 Proclaim His glory among the nations His wonders among all peoples.

4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are worthless, but the Lord made the heavens. 6 Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

7 Give unto the Lord, O families of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength. 8 Give unto the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come into His courts. 9 Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. 10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns! Indeed, the world is established; it shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.”

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; 12 let the field be joyful, and all that is in it; then all the trees of the forests shall rejoice 13 before the Lord, for He comes, for He comes to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with His faithfulness

O sing unto the Lord our God a new song, always.

God bless.

Luke 15:11-32 It Is Time To Come Home

I believe that God is trying to reach the heart of someone out there who is in desperate need of His love. Someone who feels as though they are at the end of their rope and can not take on anymore of the issue and stresses of life alone. If this is you, God is calling you! He is sending forth the call of "REDEMPTION" for you if you would believe and receive it.

Everyday, for the past week, The Holy Spirit has given me messages of "Salvation" and I am being obedient to what He gives me to write.

God's messages are with urgency to man, women, boys and girls around the world.

Today' message is no exception for Jesus is again calling the lost to come home on today in this parable of the prodigal son.

This parable is a picture of "REDEMPTION." A picture of God the Father and "sinners."

A picture of God's love that heals, restores and reconcile us back to God as if we never left.

Luke 15:11-32 11 Then He said, “A man had two sons. 12 The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the property that falls to me.’ So he divided his estate between them.

13 “Not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together, and journeyed to a distant country, and there squandered his possessions in prodigal living. 14 When he had spent everything, there came a severe famine in that country, and he began to be in want. 15 So he went and hired himself to a citizen of that county, who sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 He would gladly have filled his stomach with the husks that the swine were eating, but no one gave him any.

17 “When he came to himself, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have an abundance of bread, and here I am perishing with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’ 20 So he arose and came to his father.

“But while he was yet far away, his father saw him and was moved with compassion, and ran and embraced his neck and kissed him.

21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him. And put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet. 23 Bring here the fattened calf and kill it, and let us eat and be merry. 24 For this son of mine was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ So they began to be merry.

Many today have left God for the world, but God is calling you back home. Yes, it is time to come back to the Father.

Like the prodigal son in this text who came to his "senses", it is time for you to do the same.

Regardless of how many pig pens you may have wallowed in, regardless of how far you may have gone in sin, if you confess your sins to Him, God is faithful and just to forgive you. He is willing and able to reconcile you back to Him through Christ.

Today is the day to leave the "far country called the world and all it's pleasures" and come back home to the Father. Your "REDEMPTION' awaits you there.

Yes, it is time to come back home.

God bless.

Isaiah 43:2 Travel Companion

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through waters, I will be with you. And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame kindle on you.

Which road is your mind traveling on this morning? is it a road full of worry, stress, uncertainty, confusion, sickness, anger, tears, hurt, pain, regrets, wishes, sorrow or sadness?

On your walk in life, has the enemy tired to convince you that God has left you?

We know God's word declares that He will never leave us nor for sake us but He will be with us always even unto the end.

Where are you on today in the test and trials of life? Does the road ahead looks hopeless and helpless?

Remember the 3 Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace? Remember Daniel in the Lion's den? Remember the children of Israel standing at the read sea? Remember Job in the death of his children and sickness in his body?

Well, God delivered them and He is able to deliver us too. He is the same God yesterday, today and forever.

Regardless of what you suffer, GOD IS WITH YOU!

Psalm 46:1-God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

People of God, the Lord our God knows what He is doing. Unfortunately, pain and suffering is one of the vehicles that God uses to conform us to the likeness of His son.

Whatever road you are traveling people of God, you must know without a doubt that "GOD KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING"!

When we accepted Jesus Christ by faith as our Savior, Christ agreed to be our "travel companion."  He coordinated all the travel arrangements on our journey of life ahead of time and He intends to travel with us throughout our entire trip from earth to eternity.

In the valley of despair? God is there! He will not leave you there! TRUST HIM ON TODAY!

God bless.
