Psalm 121:1-8 MY HELP

Psalm 121:1-8- I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Thank you Lord for being a ever present help to your people.

We "LOVE" You Lord!

Psalm 111:1-10 Praise The Lord For All He Has Done

Psalm 111:1-10- Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.

2 The works of the Lord are great, sought out by all who have pleasure in them. 3 His work is honorable and glorious, and His righteousness endures forever. 4 He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and full of compassion. 5 He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.

6 He has shown His people the power of His works, that He may give them the inheritance of the nations. 7 The works of His hands are true and just; all His commands are sure. 8 They stand forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. 9 He sent redemption to His people;
He has commanded His covenant forever; holy and fearful is His name.

10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who live it have insight. His praise endures forever!

For all He has done, I will lift my hands and praise Him. For all He has done, I will try to live my life to please Him.

We all have many things we can praise God for. If we begin to name them, it will take all eternity for we will not be able to tell all that God has done for us.

Praise the Lord our God for great are the works of His hands. Splendor and majesty are His works.

Praise the Lord for His righteousness endures forever.

The Lord our God has done wonderful acts to be remembered by all of us.

Praise the Lord our God for He is merciful and full of love and compassion people of God.

Praise the Lord people of God for He is indeed our God, our Provider and He is worthy of our praises.

If you do not praise Him, here is what Jesus says in Luke 19:40-“I tell you, if these should be silent, the rocks would immediately cry out.” I don't want no rock crying out for me!

At 5:30 am yesterday morning, I heard the birds giving God His praise early. I said "Lord, even the birds are praising you early."

Let everything that has breath, praise ye the Lord!

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom! Do you fear Him? Well, if you do, you are counted among the wise.

God, I thank you! I give you praise dear Lord, I  worship you Lord, I magnify your name, I give you praise from the fruit of my lips, I lift your name on high dear Lord, I give you glory and I give you honor for truly you are worthy of my praise!!

Get up from where you are people of God and begin to praise the Lord your God for He is good and has been good to you. Give Him what He is due. Open your mouth wide and give God the glory.

PRAISE YE THE LORD!!!!

Glory to His name!!!

AMEN!

Psalm 91:1-8 You Are My Hiding Place

Psalm 91:1-8 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

3 Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day.,6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

When life's storm appears to never cease, when the sea billows continues to roll,  when the direction to take seems confusing and uncertainty seem to cloud your mind, when the troubles of life appears to rage on, God promises to be your hiding place.

The Psalmist in this text makes this declaration concerning God and Him being a hiding place to run to. "I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Where is your hiding place? Are you riding out life's storm under the wings of Almighty God? Or, are you riding out life's storm in your shelter of self sufficiency?

God promise to you on today is to shelter you under His wings for it is in Him alone where you will find refuge for under the wings of your faithful God is your hiding place .

Are you in need of rest from the cares of the world? 1 Peter 5:7-Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Thank You for for being my hiding place. Thank You Lord for being my shelter in life's storms. Thank you Lord for being a very present help in trouble.

Thank You Lord.

2 Peter 3:10-13 You Must Be Ready

2 Peter 3:10-13 - But the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat. The earth also and the works that are in it will be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things are to be destroyed, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 while you are waiting for and desiring the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens will be destroyed by fire and the elements will be consumed by intense heat? 13 But, according to His promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

The day of the Lord will take place at the end of the world. When is that day? No man knows, only the Father in heaven.

What we do know is the fact that it is coming, without any doubt according to the Word of God.

Christ coming will be without warning for it will happen suddenly. He will come as a thief in the night.

The words of this text echos Matthew 24:43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

When a thief comes, he or she comes without giving prior warning. We are given warning after warning in the scriptures that the day of the Lord will come.

Everyday of our lives must be lived in preparation of "the day of the Lord."  Yes, the "Day of the Lord" is coming! Will you be ready? If not, why not? You have received your warning throughout scripture about His coming.

Be ye ready for no man knows the day nor the hour when the "Master" of the house would come. He is coming and it will be without warning.

When the "Day of the Lord" comes, I pray we all be ready.

God bless.

Proverbs 4:23 What Is Pouring Out Of The Faucet Of My Heart

Proverbs 4:23-Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

HEART- kardia in the greek and is define as the heart; mind, character, inner self, will, intention, center.

"Above all else, make guarding your heart  a number one priority in your life. What we say, what we think, what we do, how we act, how we treat one another are all reflections of who we are and what is on the inside of us. Believe it or not, we all act in accordance to who we are.

Who we are flows from our heart into our behavior. Our moral conduct and actions is speaking from our heart. They are showing what is in our hearts. If the heart is pure, the life will be pure; if the heart is corrupt, the life will be corrupt.

The mind of a man reflects who he really is, not simply his actions or words. That is why God examines the heart of a man and not his outward appearance.

1 Samuel 16:7- But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

People of God, we must be diligent in guarding our hearts because the condition of our heart will affect everything from from thoughts, actions and behavior.

What is pouring out of the faucet of my heart? An attitude to build up or to tear down? To hurt or to help? Who is benefiting from what is being poured out of the faucet of my heart on a daily basis?

What is flowing from you? Ponder this question on today and if it is not the love of Christ, it is time to cry out to the Lord to "cleanse" your heart.

Remember! Guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life.

God bless.

Luke 18:15-17 Bring The Children To Jesus

Luke 18:15-18- They also brought infants to Him that He might touch them. When the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Permit the little children to come to Me, and do not hinder them. For to such belongs the kingdom of God. 17 Truly, I say to you, whoever will not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will in no wise enter it.”

Our Children also need a personal relationship with Jesus. It starts with us bringing them to Him. Taking them to church, Sunday School, vacation bible study , talking about Jesus at home, in the car, during meal times through prayer and at early morning getting up and lying down.

Your children will never know Jesus nor have a personal relationship with Him unless you introduce them to Him. It is your duty as a parent to do so.

Parents, let our children hear us pray, let them see us read our bibles and let them see us in worship, singing and praising to the Lord our God. Let the Word of God be on our mouth, in your hearts and impress them upon your children.

The parents in this text was bringing their children to Jesus and the disciples wanted to turn  them away, but Jesus rebuked them by saying "bring them unto me."

In a world of chaos and an arena of where conformity to the world is what's being promoted, we need to bring our children to Christ. Train them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Parents, do your part in planting the seed of God’s word into the hearts and minds of your children. If you do, God will do the rest. One water, one plant and God gives the increase.

Children are the greatest treasure even given to mankind. What are you doing with the treasure that has been given unto you?

We only get one chance to raise our children. Start while they are young by bringing them to Jesus. Make the Lord our God known unto them. NOW IS THE TIME!!

God bless.

Psalm 8:1-9 How Great Thou Art

Psalm 8:1-9 O Lord, our Lord,   how excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens.

2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength because of Your enemies, to silence the enemy and the avenger.

3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established, 4 what is man that You are mindful of him,  and the son of man that You attend to him?

5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,  and crowned him with glory and honor.

6 You have given him dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatever travels the paths of the seas.

9 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!

GREAT AND MIGHTY IS OUR GOD!

Psalm 46:10 Be Still And Know That The Sovereign God Reigns

Psalm 46:10 - He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.

Today is a day of meditation on the Word of God. Find a quiet place alone today and spend some time with God in prayer and His Word for it will bless and uplift your souls and spirit on today.

Jeremiah 29:11-For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

1 Peter 5:7 Cast Your Worries On God

1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.

Care=merima in the greek.  Worry,  burden or  anxiety about things pertaining to this earthly life.

Cares!  We all have them. Life happens to all of us! Trouble comes to all of us.

Whatever your emotional state may be on today,  it did not catch God by surprise. God knows everything before they even happen. God is Omniscience. He is the God who knows all things, including your emotions that seems to be running high in every direction right now.

Whatever concerns you concerns God. Whatever gets our attention gets God's attention.

When we cast our cares on God, He exchanges all our worries and fear for His peace and rest.

“Cast all your anxiety on God!” WHY? Because He cares for you.

Because God knew us even before we were formed, He knows what worries and hurts us and He is able to set us free from all of them when we by faith, cast them upon Him.

Cast your worries on God! Pour out your heart to Him in prayer on today. Cry if you have to cry, scream if you have to scream, but get it out of your system and cast it on God.

Since God cares for you, let him carry all your burdens and worries. He loves you and his heart is full with compassion for you. Run to Him on today for He is indeed a “burden bearer.”

God cares for and is concerned about you on today my brothers and sisters

My prayer today is that you would trust God and allow Him to be God in your life.

CAST YOUR CARES ON HIM! He bids you to come and bring them to Him on today.

God bless.
