Mark 4:37-41 Are You In Need Of Peace In Your Storm

Mark 4:37-41- A great wind storm arose, and the waves splashed into the boat, so that it was now filling the boat. 38 He was in the stern asleep on a pillow. They woke Him and said, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 He rose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!”Then the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

40 He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is that you have no faith?”

41 They feared greatly and said to one another, “What kind of Man is He, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

Do you need to hear "peace be still" on today from the Father concerning the storm that is raging in your life?

The disciples were caught in a unexpected storm. They called upon Jesus who was at the bottom of the ship alseep and He spoke to their storm these powerful and profound words "Peace Be Still".

Scripture declares that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He did it back then, He is able to do the same in our lives on today.

Are you are in need of a "Storm Calmer" on today, call upon the Lord our God for He promises to hear and answer your prayer. He alone will the storms of life obey when He says "Peace Be Still".

Our God is the Master of ocean, earth and sky. They all shall obey His will.

If you arose to a storm in your life this morning say "Lord, do it for me right now".

The Lord our God cares and is concerned about His people.

Jesus alone has the power to save, deliver and set free. He is waiting to hear from you on today so that He can speak "PEACE" to your storm sea.

If we refuse to call upon the Lord for help we desperately stand in need of on our stormy and raging seas of life, we are guaranteed defeat or death by drowning in a storm sea where we could have been saved by calling upon the Lord and surrendering to His authority for the saving of our souls.

Do you want to hear "peace be still"? Call upon the Lord!

God bless.

Psalm 146:3 Where Have You Placed Your Trust

Psalm 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.

NLT- Don't put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.

Where or in whom have you placed your trust in on today? Who or what have you placed over God as priority in your life?

The only One worthy of our praise is the Lord our God. He is the only One who is able to redeem, save and set us free. He is the only one who can allow us to walk out of death row into our eternal destination with Him in heaven for eternity.

James 4:14-Yet you do not know [the least thing about what may happen in your life tomorrow. [What is secure in your life?] You are merely a vapor [like a puff of smoke or a wisp of steam from a cooking pot] that is visible for a little while and then vanishes [into thin air].

God on the other hand is everlasting. His promises are true and He will do just what He says He will do.

Psalm 118:8-It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people.

Call upon the Lord on today for He promises to hear and answer your prayer. He bids you to trust Him enough to call upon Him. Will you do it? He is calling you.

Woe to the man who look to man and away from God. Where is your faith on today? In Whom have you placed your trust?

Who is it that you have purposed in your heart to trust from this day forward?

As believers, our citizenship is in heaven. Earth is temporary. It is a place of preparation for eternity.

It is very important that we believe and take serious the words that God is speaking to us on today.

The choices we all are left with on today is“who are we going to believe? Who are we going to trust? Who are we going to follow?”

Those whose hope is The Lord will not be disappointed!

Where have you placed your trust on today? I pray that it is in the Lord God.

God bless.

1 Timothy 2:5 Only One

1 Timothy 2:5 There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Mediator-mesités in the greek. An arbitrator, intermediary, a go-between. The "One" who intervenes to restore peace between two parties, especially as it fulfills a compact or ratifies a covenant.

In this text of scripture, the Apostle Paul acknowledges, openly and unashamedly declares to ALL of us on today that  “There is one God and one Mediator  between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”

In other words, there is only "One True God", the Man Jesus Christ who is the go between God and depraved man.

As "Mediator" between God and men, Jesus Christ is the channel through which communication is made between God and men.

The Old Testament law giver "Mediator" was Moses, but when Christ came, the New Testament Law Giver "Mediator" came with grace and truth, there was no need for any other "Mediator" for Jesus Christ is it.

Hebrews 1:1-4 God, who at various times and in diverse ways spoke long ago to the fathers through the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the world. 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Are you listening for the voice of Christ? Do you hear Him? He is speaking!

1 Timothy 2:5- “For there is "One God and One Mediator" between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

God bless!

Matthew 14:13-21 The Miracle Called "Love"

The Feeding of the Five Thousand

13 When Jesus heard this, He departed from there by boat for a deserted place. But when the people heard it, they followed Him on foot from the cities. 14 Jesus went ashore and saw a great assembly. And He was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.

15 When it was evening, His disciples came to Him, saying, “This is a lonely place and the day is now over. Send the crowds away to go into the villages and buy themselves food.”

16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to depart. You give them something to eat.”

17 They said to Him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.”

18 He said, “Bring them here to Me.” 19 Then He commanded the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to His disciples; and the disciples gave them to the crowds. 20 They all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. 21 Those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

The feeding of the five thousand is just one of the many miracle that Jesus performed while he walked the earth.

Believe it or not, Jesus is still performing miracles on today. He is sending forth His love throughout the earth is so many ways.

The food that Jesus offered back then and is still offering to dying men, women, boys and girls on today is still "LOVE".

Physical food fills us for a little while and then we are hungry again, but when we are filled with the "love" of Christ, the hunger for love is no longer craved, but shared.

The love of Christ towards humanity is seen in this feeding of the multitude. Scripture declares in Matthew 4:4-Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Love is the food they needed and the food we all need. This is what Jesus commands the Disciples to give to the multitude when he says to them, “you feed them.”

To the command of Jesus, the disciples served "love" that day to the multitude. Is this your desire? If you are, you are ripe for a miracle.

Continue to obey God's command in giving "love" for there is a miracle with your name on it!

God bless.

Luke 4:42-44 It Is Time To Get Your Priority In Order

Luke 4:42-44 When it was day He departed and went into a remote place. And searching for Him, the people came to Him and tried to prevent Him from leaving them. 43 But He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also, for this is why I was sent.” 44 And He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.

Where is your priority? Where should it be? Has God given you a purpose in life? Of course He has! Are you operating in it? Where are you concerning that which God has assigned to your hands?

Jesus made spending time in communication with the Father in prayer, His #1 priority. He could not fulfill the purpose of the Father without communication with Him.

How about you and I? Are we doing that? Are we conversing with the Father everyday?

Have you ever heard the saying: only what you do for Christ will last? Well, that is a true saying!

Believe it or not, GOD MUST BECOME THE #1 PRIORITY IN YOUR LIFE!

Anything or anyone you place as first in your life above God is called an ‘”IDOL.” God himself declares in Exodus 20:3 "You must not have any other god but me.

What does Christ say our priority should be? He gave us some help in Matthew 6:33-To seek first the kingdom of God. To live our lives with eternity in mind.

Jesus knew His purpose and kept it as His #1 priority. He told us His purpose for coming to earth. Let’s listen: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free” (Lk. 4:18, NIV).

Jesus earthly mission was accomplished and now He is seated in heaven at the right hand of God the Father, making intercessions for those who have made the "CHOICE" to make Him their #1 priority.

I want to leave you with this thought: God has gifted each of us with unique gifts for us to use to glorify Him and build up His kingdom on earth. Are we operating in them?

It is time to get our priority in order!

God bless.

Psalm 16:1 SHELTER

Psalm 16:1-Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.

This text reveals the psalmist confession of faith in God and his personal relationship with Him for He called God "my God".

David knew that as long as He is in God's protection,  regardless of what he may have to go through or suffer in his life, in spite of his enemies, in spite of persecution or adversity, in spite of opposition,  there is no need to worry nor fear for God will shelter him under His Mighty wings.

Real hope is not found in anything we have nor anyone we may know for it is in God alone where everlasting hope, trust and shelter can be found.

My prayer and hope for you on today is that you run to "SAFETY" in God. He is the ONLY "Anchor" that will be able to stand against the strong winds of test and trials on life's stormy sea.

When God is our protection, our shelter, our place of refuge, we are guaranteed VICTORY through Him.

Just like David, we ALL can find our security in God, and when we do we too can boldly proclaim that “in God we will take refuge.”

There is a storm out on the ocean  (world) and it is moving this way and if your soul is not anchored, you will surely drift away.

Are you protected? Is God your place of shelter? If not, it is still not too late. While breath is still in your body and while the blood is still running warm in your veins, you can make your confession to God right now in the name of Jesus.

In Jesus alone we can find guaranteed security because of what He did for us at Calvary Cross!

TAKE SHELTER IN JESUS ON TODAY, FOR YOU GOING TO NEED HIM!

God bless.

Proverbs 3:18- Seek And Pursue God's Divine Wisdom

Proverbs 3:18-She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her and happy is everyone who retains her.

God's Word declares that "Wisdom" is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The wisdom of God is the highest "Wisdom" man can attain. God alone is the all wise and all knowing, Sovereign God.

One of the ways that King Solomon describes God’s "Wisdom" is  that he says “it is liken unto a tree for those who take hold of her.”

King Solomon  goes on to say that “happy or blessed” is everyone who retains (possess) her.

King Solomon, the wisest kings ever lived was given the task of leading God's people after his Father, David died.

Solomon, now appointed King over God's people, knew that he did not have the "Wisdom and knowledge" needed to lead God's people, therefore, he humbled himself under the mighty hands of God and requested help from God in leading God's people the way God would have them to be lead them.

Solomon knew that in and of himself, he was incapable of performing his leadership role over this mass of people on his own apart from God.  In other word, Solomon knew he needed God's help and he seek for God for it.

When Solomon was appointed King, God visited him and asked him in 2 Chronicles 1:7-12 -what I might give to you.”8 Then Solomon said to God, “You have given a great mercy to David my father and have made me king in his place. 9 Now, Lord God, may Your word to David my father be confirmed, for You have made me king over a people numerous as the dust of the earth. 10 Now give wisdom and knowledge to me so that I might know how to go before this people, for who can judge this great people of Yours?”

11 Then God responded to Solomon, “Because this was in your heart and you did not ask for possessions, wealth, and honor, or even the life of those who hate you, nor have you asked for many days of life, but you have asked Me for wisdom and knowledge that you might govern My people over whom I have made you king, 12 wisdom and knowledge are now given to you. Possessions, wealth, and honor I will also give to you; such has not been given to kings before you nor those who will follow after you.”

WOW!!! LOOK AT GOD!

As humans, we are limited in our ability. There are some things God will allow us to do in our own strength just to show us our need for Him, and then there are some thing that God will show us that we can only accomplish through Him.

Seek and pursue God’s divine “Wisdom” on today for you will be happy that you did.

God bless.

Matthew 24:42 If You Belong To Him "Keep Watch"

Matthew 24:42-Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord will come.

Watch-to be awake, give attention, close observation,  to look with expectation, guard, vigilance for keeping or protecting against danger.

We are living in a time that is described in the bible as the "days of evil" or perilous times. Times in which man is living according to what is right in his or her own eyes. A time when God has been given the back seat in the lives of many and the world and all of its ungodly, perishable pleasures have taken front row seat in the lives of many, including some of those who once confessed Christ.

One day the world and all its's pleasures will be no more. What will you have left if your soul is lost and you die apart from God?

Knowing the brevity of life, it is not only important, but it would seem to make sense that we will make every attempt to live each day of our lives as if it was our last for none of us knows when our last breath will be drawn.

Sadly, many today are living their lives as if they plan to be on earth forever. Making no preparation to one day leave here and stand before Christ.

The bible declares that Jesus will one day return to receive those that belong to Him. Yes, there will be a 2nd coming of Christ.

When He returns, He will come as judge. Revelation 22:12-"Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done.

The day that Christ will return? On that day and hour no man knows. What is known is the fact that He is coming back.

Life is short and our days here on earth are short. James 4:14- How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.

At the end of our journey called life, what will we hear Christ say concerning us?

To those who have a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ, here is what the Lord says concerning you.

If you belong to Christ, keep watch!

Ready or not, Christ will return.

God bless.

Hebrews 10:25 Make Your Way To The Lord's House Today

Hebrews 10:25  Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but let us exhort one another, especially as you see the day approaching.

Make your way to the Lord's house today so that you can fellowship with the saints.

We are reminded in Proverbs 27:17-As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.

In the perilous time in which we live, we need each other. We need each other's love, hugs, encouragement, kindness and uplifting words.

Three is nothing like sharing our testimony or a few tears of joy with another brother or sister in Christ at the Lord's house.

There is nothing more comforting and loving than the gathering of God's people together in one place on one accord.

Oh, the sound of praise and worship to the Father by the children of God gathered together in His House is indeed a smell of sweet perfume to the nostril of God.

Get out and fellowship with the people of God on today for you will be glad that you did.

Many have entertained angels unaware.

God bless.

Hebrews 10:15 Today Is Coming Together Day for God's People

Hebrews 10:15 Don’t stop meeting together with other believers, which some people have gotten into the habit of doing. Instead, encourage each other, especially as you see the day drawing near.

God along with your brothers and sisters in Christ are looking forward to fellowship with you in Church this morning.

Get an early start out so that in our gathering together at the Lord's House we can do as scripture says we do when we come together and that is "iron sharpens iron."

Today is the coming together day for the people of God.

Happy Sunday and God bless.
