1 John 3:1-3 Because Of God's Love For Us

1 John 3:1-3 What marvelous love the Father has extended to us! Just look at it—we’re called children of God! That’s who we really are. But that’s also why the world doesn’t recognize us or take us seriously, because it has no idea who He is or what He’s up to.

2-3 But friends, that’s exactly who we are: children of God. And that’s only the beginning. Who knows how we’ll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we’ll see Him—and in seeing Him, become like him. All of us who look forward to His Coming stay ready, with the glistening purity of Jesus’ life as a model for our own.

Because of God's love for us people of God, we are called "Children of God". Yes, that is who God call us.

People of God, regardless of what kind of day you are faced with on today, know this "GOD LOVES YOU, and He calls you His child." Yep! You and I, the children of God, are loved by God.

People of God, let your light so shine today that men would see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. God’s love for you a reason enough!

God bless.

Hebrews 13:8 Is, Was And Forever Shall Be

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Jesus Christ is the same, was the same and forever shall remain the same even in an unstable and unpredictable world that is constantly changing from day to day.

Jesus is the eternal Son of God, therefore He  does not change His promises nor His purpose.

Jesus is perfect in His wisdom, His love, and His mercy.

Life changes, our circumstances certainly changes, health, finances, etc. are constantly changing, but our God is declaring to us on today that He changes not!

Regardless of the changes in our lives people of God, The Lord our God got us!

As we daily run this journey called “life”, let us strive to imitate Christ in spite of our outward circumstances.

1 Samuel 15:29-And he who is the Glory of Israel will not lie, nor will he change his mind, for he is not human that he should change his mind!”

Our God changes not! For I am the Lord, I do not change” (Mal. 3:6, NIV).

Our God is, was and forever shall be the same. He can be trusted in every area of our lives now and in the future. Will you surrender to Him by faith on today?

There is nothing too hard for God. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think according to our faith.

If Christ was willing to die for us, what other changes in our lives that we stand in need of that He is not willing or able to perform? Come to Jesus! Now is the acceptable time. Today is the day of Salvation.

The storm is coming and we all will need shelter. If you are not anchored in Jesus when the storm that is guaranteed to come, where will you find shelter? If not in Jesus, you will loose your life forever.

Know this truth! Faithful is our God!

God bless.

John 8:2-11 Go And Sin No More

John 8:2-11 - 2 Early in the morning He returned to the temple. All the people came to Him, and He sat down and taught them. 3 The scribes and Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery. When they had put her in the middle, 4 they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of adultery. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us to stone such, but what do You say?” 6 They said this, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him.

But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear them. 7 So when they continued asking Him, He stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground.

9 Being convicted by their conscience, those who heard it went out one by one, beginning with the eldest even to the last. Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had stood up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?”

11 She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

God bless.

Luke 19:10 LOVE

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Looking for someone to "LOVE" you on today with unconditional love?  Look no further for your lover is seeking you also? Jesus Christ, "The Greatest Lover" who ever lived and will ever live is on the search today for those who are in need of "Love's Redemption.

Tired of fighting life's battles on your own? Tired of the spin wheel that your life has been turning on ? Do you need rest for your weary soul? Are you in need of God’s "LOVE, " mercy and compassion on today?

"LOVE" came just for you. As a matter of fact, He is calling you by name.

John 15:13- Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.

Regardless of how far you may have gone in sin, "LOVE" calls out to you on today. No one is beyond the reach of God’s "LOVE."  Everyone matters to Him and everyone is valuable  to Him, that is why He came.

In April 1998, I was living in silent pain, tormented by the struggles of life and tired. One night at 10 pm standing near the back of my house near the woods, I cried out  in desperation and "LOVE"  heard, called and rescued me. I heard the voice of "LOVE" calling out my name clearly that dark night in April 1998.

"LOVE" said to me in 1998 " I died for you Debra, come to me because the burden you are trying to carry is too heaven for you. Give it to me! I carried out from the bottom of my soul, and I felt an immediate release!" I saw God in a way that I had never seen Him before, and I grew up in the church from birth. LOOK AT GOD!

"LOVE"  came to rescue to me that night when I was weary, wounded and exhausted. I released all those burdens and received God’s "LOVE" that dark night and my life has NEVER been the same.

"LOVE" changed everything! He made me a new creation, He gave me love unconditional and I am no longer that wounded and broken women I was when I encountered Jesus in a way I never experienced Him before. After that night, I was no longer the same!

What about you? I know that "LOVE" is calling you by name. It is you that He came to seek. It is you and I that He came to set free and break our chains.

"LOVE" came to seek and save you on today. Will you surrender? If you do, He will set you free. Yes, He came just for you.

STOP trying to carry your burdens anymore! Allow yourself to be set free. This is your day!

"LOVE" came over 2k years ago as Savior of the world. His 2nd coming will be as “Judge.”  Will you be ready to meet Him if you have not accepted His "LOVE"?

"LOVE" seeks and calls out to you on today. I pray that you will open your ears , heart, and mind, and answer to your name being called by Jesus.

God bless.

1 John 4:1-6 Examine What You Hear And Read

1 John 4:1-6 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and is already in the world.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world, and therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are of God, and whoever knows God listens to us. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

This passage of scripture is a warning to Christians. BE ALERT! BE SOBER MINDED AND BE VIGILENT! The days in which we now live are evil. The enemy seeks whom He may devour.

“The thief cometh not, but to seal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly” (Jn. 10:10, NIV).

We are called to test  (discern) the messages that many are proclaiming to be the Gospel of Christ.

The reason we are being commanded to “test the spirits” or “test all things” is that there are “many false prophets” or “wolves in sheep’s clothing” that is trying to lead Christians astray.

"CHECK THE BOOK!" For God's truth is only found in His Bible.

The battle is for our mind is real! Therefore, we must do as commanded in 2 Corinthians 10:5- casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Examine what you hear and read. Put it up against what the bible says. If it does not line up with scripture, it is not from God, regardless of how good it may sound or how good it may make you feel.

The "Gospel" is the Word of God and it will and have stood the test of all times. The "Bible" is the only Book that does not change. It is God's infallible Word and every Word of it spoken by God WILL come to pass.

Jesus declares these words -Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away” (Matt. 24:35, NLT).

People of God, WAKE UP!! Deception, false teaching, persecution and the spirit of divisiveness is running rampant in the world today. The time to pursue and live out God's Gospel truth is now!!!

If there ever was a time to use discernment from the Holy Spirit and seek truth through God's Word, the time is now!

GREATER IS HE WHO IS IN YOU THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD!

God bless.

Luke 1:57-80 He Shall Be Called "JOHN"

Luke 1:57-80 Now Elizabeth’s time had come to give birth, and she gave birth to a son. 58 Her neighbors and cousins heard how the Lord had shown her great mercy, and they rejoiced with her.

59 On the eighth day they came to circumcise the child. And they were calling him Zechariah, after the name of his father. 60 But his mother answered, “Not so! He shall be called John.”

61 They said to her, “There is no one among your relatives who is called by this name.”

62 They made signs to his father, asking what he would have him called.63 He asked for a writing tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” And they all were amazed. 64 Immediately his mouth was opened and his tongue was loosed, and he spoke and praised God. 65 Fear came on all who lived around them. And all these facts were talked about throughout all the hill country of Judea. 66 All those who heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, “What kind of child will he be?” For the hand of the Lord was with him.

The Prophecy of Zechariah

67 His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied, saying, 68 “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel,  for He has visited and redeemed His people, 69 and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of His servant David, 70 as He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets of long ago, 71 that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, 72 to perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant, 73     the oath which He swore to our father Abraham, 74 to grant us that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies,   might serve Him without fear, 75     in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our lives.

76 “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest; for you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways, 77 to give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins, 78 through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise from on high has visited us; 79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

80 And the child grew and became strong in spirit, and he remained in the wilderness until the day of his appearance to Israel.

God bless.

Luke 18:21-35 How Often Shall I Forgive

Luke 18:21-35 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall I forgive my brother who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

23 “Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 When he began to settle the accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.[a]25 But since he was not able to pay, his master ordered that he be sold with his wife, their children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 “So the servant fell on his knees, pleading with him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

28 “But that same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii.[b] He laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe.’

29 “So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and entreated him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’

30 “But he would not and went and threw him in prison until he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what took place, they were very sorry and went and told their master all that had taken place.

32 “Then his master, after he had summoned him, said to him, ‘O you wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?’ 34 His master was angry and delivered him to the jailers until he should pay all his debt.

35 “So also My heavenly Father will do to each of you, if from your heart you do not forgive your brother for his trespasses.”

God bless!

Mark 2:1-12 Jesus Forgives Sin & Heals A Man Stricken With Palsy

Mark 2:1-12 Again, He entered Capernaum after some days. And it was reported that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no room to receive them, not even at the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 They came to Him bringing one sick with paralysis, who was carried by four men. 4 When they could not come near Him due to the crowding, they uncovered the roof where He was. When they had broken it open, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”

6 But some of the scribes were sitting there, reasoning in their hearts,7 “Why does this Man speak such blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

8 Immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you contemplate these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier to say to the paralytic: ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, rise, and take up your bed, and go your way to your house.” 12 Immediately he rose, picked up the bed, and went out in front of them all, so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

God bless.

Proverbs 21:1 God Is Still In Control

Proverbs 21:1 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turns it to any place He will.

In this text, the heart of the king is described as a water stream that the Lord our God controls. It is God who directs the flow of man’s heart wherever He pleases.

Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.

The heart of every king, good or evil, every man, woman, boy or girl is fully known by God.

God turns the world around daily, He directs all the world affairs as He pleases. He allows whatever He wants to happen for His purpose.

Fearful about the future of our nation? Fear not! Only believe and trust God.

Remember Pharaoh? The bible declares that the Lord harden his heart against God's People Israel and it was the Lord that freed them out of Egyptian bondage.

Nothing is too hard for our God. He is bigger than any and everything! He is supreme in authority, power and might. All Sufficient God!

Be encouraged on today for the Lord God is still at the steering wheel of every one of our lives.

It is the Word of God that is final authority in the earth. God's Word SHALL do what He sends it to accomplish.

God bless.

John 14:6 ONE WAY

“ONE WAY”

This message is not a scare tactic, but a “REALITY” check.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (Jn 14:6, NIV).

One way! Yep, that is it! Jesus is that way! Jesus’ familiar words to His disciples concerning His departure back to heaven with the Father was now about to become a reality.

His physical departure from earth was at hand and He felt a need to prepare His disciples because His eyes are now set on Jerusalem with Calvary in view.

Indeed, this was a sad day for the disciples and Jesus knew He needed to give them hope, comfort and an assurance of His ever presence with them.

As a way of comforting and encouraging these fearful, worried and weary disciples, Jesus told them  (1)- let not your heart be troubled. In other words, my peace I give unto you. (2) I am going to heaven where there are many rooms and I am gonna prepare one of them for each of you so that where I am you may be also with me. (3) I am your way to the Father. He and I are one. It is through me that you get to spend eternity in heaven with Him and with Me.

Heaven is indeed a prepared place for prepared people. Are you making preparation to one day live in heaven? What are you doing with your life? Are you being a disciple for Christ?

Jesus makes a clear declaration in vs#6- “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Getting to heaven is not by grandmamma grace,  mama's prayers, daddy's family inheritance, status, position in society or in the church, economic status, positions among men, in the community, nor in the eyes of man, nor in man's promotion of you.

JESUS IS IT!! HE IS THE “ONE WAY” TO GOD IN HEAVEN.

If heaven is your eternal destination, Jesus is the "ONLY" route that will lead you there. There is no other!!!!

For the unbeliever that may have visited here on today, I say to you “Jesus is the ONLY WAY.”

YEP!! ONE WAY IS IT!!! The Highway called “JESUS”!

 God bless.
