1 John 4:7-10 "Love" Is The Fruit Of The Day

1 John 4:7-10 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

9 In this way the love of God was revealed to us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

10 In this is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

John 13:35-By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

True "Love" starts with God for scripture declares that it is God who loved us while we were yet sinners.

It is God who loved us and gave His only Begotten son, that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

It is God who makes this commands in John 13:34-A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

Mark 12:30-31 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is the first commandment. 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no other commandment greater than these.

John 14:15-If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Love is the fruit of the day. EAT IT!!!!

God bless.

Proverbs 15:1 Are Your Words Soft Or Grievous

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath,  but grievous words stir up anger.

What words are you speaking? Are they soft or grievous? Are your spoken words of love or hate? Are your words joining people together as one or are they separating and causing division among them? Are your words healing or hurting others?

“The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing” Prov. 12:18, NIV).

The Bible has a lot to say about guarding the tongue and being careful what you say. But it has even more to say about speaking the right words, using words to heal, benefit and build people up and not hurtful words that tears down.

If we all could be honest for a moment, we know that it is better to give a soft answer than a grievous one. We all have been hurt or offended by the words of someone and we know how it makes us feel, therefore, be very careful of the words you speak for it may save someone’s life.

When our words are those of healing and comfort and not wrath and condemnation, we are more likely to use the opportunity to convince others of God’s truth that is found in His Word.

People of God, let us start today in reducing our chances of making more enemies by using words that heal instead of words that bring about pain, hatred and disunity.

People of God, think before you speak! “Do you see a man who is hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him” Prov. 19:20, NLT).

What words are you speaking? Are they soft or grievous words? Are your words that heals others or hurt them?

Ponder these questions on today and seek the Word of God to help you make a change in the words you speak if you have been speaking words that produces wrath, anger and enemies.

God bless!

Psalm 91:1-8 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the hunter and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with His feathers,  and under His wings you shall find protection; His faithfulness shall be your shield and wall.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; 6 nor of the pestilence that pursues in darkness, nor of the destruction that strikes at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Acts 2:6-16 The Apostle Paul Conversion On The Road To Damascus

damascus.jpg

Acts 2:6-16 As I journeyed and came near Damascus, about noon suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. 7 I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?’

8 “I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ “He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’9 Those who were with me saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who was speaking to me.

10 “I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ “The Lord said to me, ‘Rise and go into Damascus. There you will be told what you have been appointed to do.’ 11 Since I was blinded by the glory of that light, those who were with me led me by the hand into Damascus.

12 “Ananias, a devout man according to the law, who was well spoken of by all the Jews living there, 13 came and stood by me, and said, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And at that moment I looked up at him.

14 “Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will and to see the Just One and to hear His voice, 15 for you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. 16 And now why do you wait? Rise, be baptized and wash away your sins, and call on the name of the Lord.’

God bless.

Mark 4:37-41 Did You Awaken To A Storm This Morning?

Mark 4:37-41 -A great wind storm arose, and the waves splashed into the boat, so that it was now filling the boat. 38 He was in the stern asleep on a pillow. They woke Him and said, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?”

39 He rose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!”Then the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

40 He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is that you have no faith?”

41 They feared greatly and said to one another, “What kind of Man is He, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

Did you awaken to a storm in your life this morning? Does it appear to be raging and you are feeling the threat of drowning? Jesus says "CALL ON ME"!

God bless.

Mark 10:46-52 Lord, Do It For Me Right Now

Mark 10:46-52-Then they came to Jericho. And as He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat along the way begging.

47-When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

48 Many ordered him to keep silent. But he cried out even more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

49 Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. So they called the blind man, saying, “Be of good comfort. Rise, He is calling you.”

50-Throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.

51 Jesus answered him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabbi, that I might receive my sight.”

52 Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.

Desperate and in need of a miracle that only God can perform?  Have you found yourself suffering in a situation that has only gotten worse instead of better?

How are you handling it? Are you still trying to fix it yourself or have you made up in your mind that if God does not do it for you, it will not happen?

Have you made up your mind that you too are willing to cry out “Lord, do it for me right now?” Have you gotten there yet? I have been there too many times to count.

Blind Bartimaeus was in a desperate situation. He was blind and wanted to see. He purposed in his heart and mind that as Jesus was passing by, he would receive not only physical, but spiritual sight that day also.

Bartimaeus received the healing he needed from Jesus that day. He was willing to ignore the opinions of the crowd and the rejection of the disciples for He knew that what he needed only Jesus could provide, and he was willing to “CRY OUT” with a loud voice even the more.

The response that day to an impossible situation, from Jesus to Bartimaeus was “go thy way for thy faith hath made thee whole.” IMMEDIATELY, Bartimaeus sight was restored.

People of God, grace and mercy is available to you right now. Call on the Lord for He promise to hear and answer your prayer.

LORD, DO IT FOR ME RIGHT NOW!!!!!

God bless.

Psalm 121:1-8 The Lord Is The "Keeper" Of His People

Psalm 121:1-8 I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come?
2 My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who guards Israel
    shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The Lord is your guardian;  the Lord is your shade at your right hand.
6 The sun shall not harm you during the day, nor the moon during the night.

7 The Lord shall protect you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.

8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in  from now and for evermore.

The psalmist of this text declares on today that his eyes will be lifted up to the hills from whence cometh his help for he alone knows that his help comes from the Lord who is the maker and creator of all people and all things. The God of heaven, the Lord our God.

The God who never falters, the God who promises and fulfills, the God who will do just what He says, the God who sits high and looks low. The God who promises to love and care for His people. This is the God that the psalmist declares on today that his eyes are upon.

It is the Lord God who keeps watch over us. He knows our going out and our coming in. He knows our lying down and our uprising.

The Lord is indeed the "Keeper" of His people. Trust Him on today for He alone knows what is best for us. He alone promises to take care of us.

John 5:2-12 Jesus Heals A Lame Man On The Sabbath

John 5:2-12 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

10 The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

11 He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.

12 Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?

God Bless.

Judges 21:25 Viewing Life From The Lense Of Creation Or The Creator

Judges 21:25-  In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.

There are 2 views in life. What we see and what God sees. Whose lenses are you viewing your life from? Oh! you said yours? What's in your view?

Scripture declares that in the days when there was no king in Israel, the people viewed life from their own view. The view from the lense of "me, myself and I" leads them and us into doing what is "right" in own own eyes.

There are many sincere people who want to do right, but they want to decide for themselves what is "right," good and evil.

The danger in living and doing what appears to be "right" in our own eyes is found in these powerful words of King Solomon. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Prov. 14:12, NIV).

The call today is to fear God (reverence and respect Him and His word as authority in our lives), depart from evil and not be wise in our own eyes.

Let me make this clear on today. Regardless of which lenses you are viewing your life from, clear sight only comes from the lenses of God's Word that is found in His bible.

Contrary to what you have heard, seen or think you know, Jesus is the way! He is the Door! Enter therein!

Anyone who has convinced themselves that they can live according to what is right in their own eyes lives on a path of misery and deceit that will eventually lead to destruction, because the way of true love, peace and joy through Christ Jesus they have rejected and care not to know.

When all the serving "Me" is over, what do you have left? A heart that will be examined by God.

I can only hope and pray that at the end of the day, you have come to the conclusion that our way is not the best way! GOD IS THE ONLY WAY!

Today is a brand new day. A day to make a fresh new start with God, a day to clear your vision, a day to change your lenses and the direction of your life now and in the future.

God bless.

Psalm 46:1 HELP

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Has the troubles of life left you feeling week and without strength?  Are you overwhelmed by adversity and the troubles of life? Is this the mindset in which you arose this morning?

Well, If I just described you, I have some good news for you on today, and that is the fact that you woke up, and God has supplied you with sufficient grace and mercy on today.

God has the "POWER" to break every chain of defeat and hopelessness that you have allowed to enter your mind.

The psalmist of this text was seeking shelter from His enemies and He knew exactly where to run to. Therefore, he makes it clear to you and I on today that this same God is available to us on today.

It is in our weakness where God is strong. It is in our weakness where we can find strength in Him to withstand the journey of troubles that life often throws at us.

Help is available to you today, but it requires you turning to Jesus who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you could ask or think according to your faith.

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for being a very present help.
