Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Mercy is the Hebrew word “rachamim” which means to have compassion, pity, or love tenderly.

As the people of God, the Lord our God has told us what is right and what he demands of us. These are the Lord’s instructions to those who confess Him as Lord and Savior in their lives.

(1) Act justly-To commit to doing what is morally right and fair in every circumstances, even when it is not popular.

(2) To love mercy - This implies ajoint loyalty and faithfulness to love God, which, which is demonstrated in our love towrds others.

(3) Walk humbly with our God - Walking humbly means being mindful of how we live our life before God. A call to a life of service to God, and to put God's will before your own. It involves being open to God's guidance, and recognizing that God is the source of your strength.

This is a clarion call to Christians around the world. A call to an active faith that is lived out with actions and interactions with others and not just with words from our mouth.

People of God, now is the time to put these words into action, and live them out daily in our lives! God expect us to!

Acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God is our commission! No more excuses!
