Psalm 30:5 For His anger endures but a moment, in His favor is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
This world is filled with sadness, sorrow, sin, and the darkness that comes from it in so many different ways, but the word of God is clear when He says '“weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
To those of you who are visiting here on today that may be feeling burden down with the cares of this world, through this text, God is whispering a promise to you even now that says “this won’t last forever, it’s just temporary.” God’s anger is just for a moment, but his favor is eternal.
Keep your eyes stayed on Jesus! I will admit that dark nights can last a while, but there is hope and joy to be found when you know Jesus. People of God, the Lord our God is the lifter of our heads! He is with us, even during our darkest nights, and He is with us in our times of fear and anxiety.
It is during the difficult times in life that we must remind ourselves that God is with us, and that He has a good plan for our lives. Plans to give us a hope and a future in Him if we do not give up and quit now.
People of God, the Lord our God desires that we seek Him with all of our hearts. It is at this place in our hearts and mind where we will find God and His plans for our lives unfolding.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that even now this text would take root in the hearts and mind of all those that are weeping even now. Those whose hearts and minds are full of sorrow and sadness. Fill them with your hope Lord Jesus, remind them that weeping may endure for a night but ”JOY” comes in the morning, which is your appointment time in our lives.
I pray now Lord that you will fill the hearts and minds of your people with joy unspeakable. Remove all sorrow and sadness Lord from their hearts and mind, and give them a mind that is stayed on you.
Remind us Lord that we are not alone because you are with us!
We thank you Lord for your everlasting love and presence with us. Help us to keep our hearts and mind stayed on you through Christ Jesus.
Lord, we leave this place with hearts of thanksgiving, for we know that weeping may endure for a night but “JOY” will come in the morning!
Thank you, Lord, for being our ever presence help in time of trouble!
We love you, Lord Jesus!
Amen!
