Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Be still! A command from God to His people. Ths is not a stillnes to inactivity, but a call to quiet our souls. Be anxious about nothing, so that we may hear what the spirit has to say to us.
In the midst of anxiousness, turmoil, or even uncertainty, we are called to trust that God is with us, and that He is our source of strength in whatever we are dealing with.
As we take time to be still before God on today, let us surrender our worry and anxiety to Him, knowing that it is His desire to remove all worry and anxiousness from us.
The truth is that troubles affect us all. Trouble can strike at any time and destroy any sense of stability that we may have, but God is with us!
God is reminding us that as we learn to be still and know that He is God, we can find peace, rest, comfort, strength and assurance in Him.
Be still and know that I am God! In other words, take time to quiet our minds and heart so that we can allow God’s presence to fill us with His spirit, His peace, strength, and assurance of His presence with us.
People of God, find a quiet place to be with the Lord today. Jesus often stole away from the crowds to find time to be with God, either on a mountain, in the garden, the hills of galilee, or the sea. Let us also find room for Christ daily so that we may clear out all the clutter in our minds, and focus on God and what He is saying to us.
Our God is God from the beginning to the end! He is our God, and our very present help in time of trouble!
People of God, today is our day of turnaround, therefore we WILL be still so that we may hear what the Spirit of God is saying to us.
Thank you for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on today.
God bless you all!
