People of God, guess what? Trouble is inevitable in this world, but it doesn’t define us. Jesus who overcame death, has also overcome everything that tries to defeat us. His words are a very declaration of victory that anchors our faith.
Can I be honest for a moment? The human side of us all, often want a life free from hardship, but Jesus offers something better: courage, strength, and peace in the middle of a troubled world.
In looking at this text, Jesus does not promise us ease, but He does promise us victory. The same Jesus Christ who conquered the grave, and broke the power of sin, has also overcome every single thing that is trying to defeat us even now.
If you are visiting this site, tonight or during the day, know this truth: We no longer have to carry the heavy exhausting weight of this world on our shoulders.
People of God, lift your eyes and heart unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith. Yes! He is the one! Our Victory has already been won at the cross. The world may have the trouble, but Jesus has the final triumph!
Prayer: Lord, shift our perspective. Help us to stop staring at our problems and start anchoring our faith in the Overcomer, Jesus Christ. Remind us every single day that we are not fighting for victory, but we are standing in victory because of what You did on the cross. Cover our families, protect our minds, and let Your unshakeable peace guard our hearts.
Lord, we thank You, we praise You, and we declare total triumph over every battle we face, in the mighty, matchless, and victorious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
