Isaiah 40:31 - The God Who Strengthens

Isaiah 40:31 those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.

Life is like a journey. We often start out with great zeal, passion, and energy. But along the way, challenges, trials, and burdens can drain our strength.

We live in a time crunched world where just about everything we do seems urgent. We run from one thing to the next, living under incredible pressure, but there is a remedy for our exhaustion.

People of God, guess what? We cannot navigate this journey alone. Our human strength has a limit. However, God promises to renew our strength if we put our trust in Him. When we are empty, He is ready to refill us up again.

How do we receive this much needed strength? The bible says it comes to” those who wait upon the Lord.” Our strength is renewed as we wait on the Lord in faith. Furthermore, God’s strength is make perfect in our weakness.

God often allows us to reach the end of our own abilities so that we can learn to rely entirely on His strength.

Instead of complaining about our struggles, or worrying about a wait that seems unending at times, our call is to trust that even in the wait, God will strengthen and sustain us.

Perhaps someone is visiting here tonight and you are struggling with a challenge that has you feeling completely weary. I want you to know that God sees you. He knows exactly where you are, and He will give you the strength to rise above until your changes come. Do not give up, because the end of our story will be victory in Christ Jesus!

Yes, we will get to the other side of our trial, and we will tell the story that is called our testimony of the goodness of God.

Are you in need of strength today? Wait on the Lord, and be of good courage, for He WILL strengthen your heart.

God bless you all, and thank you for enjoying the ride here with Jesus!
