Matthew 24:44 -Therefore, you also must be ready, for in an hour when you least expect, the Son of Man is coming.
Are we ready? Will we be ready? Are we making preparations to one day meet Jesus?
There are many questions in life that MUST be answered by everyone of us that can no longer be put off, ignored or prolonged. This question is the most important one we will ever answer! Yes, there are others, but every human must personally look at self and say self, “we have been ignoring this question too long.” Why? Because our eternal destination hinges on our answer to it, even now. We all must look at the man in the mirror and say “self” where are we headed when we leave earth? Yes, right now, we must love ourselves enough to not only ask ourelves this question, but to respond to it also!
Scripture clearly states that there is an "hour", in which Christ will return to the world. "Hour" here means a definite space of time, a season, or a particular time for anything. “"For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night” (1 Thess. 5:2, ESV).
The Apostle Matthew reminds us of this truth also when he said "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matt. 24:36, NIV).
The point to be made right here, right now is not "if or when" Christ will return, but the true fact that He "WILL" return.
These question can no longer be ignored, forced to the back of our minds, denied, rejected or suppressed is "will we be ready for Jesus’ return"? Ready or not, Jesus is coming back! My question to us, including me, is this: Where will we spend eternity? With God or apart from Him?
Jesus knowing that his crucifixion was up ahead, comforted His disciples with these words. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (Jn. 14:1-3, NIV). Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people.
Many today are not taking seriously the Words of God that is written in His Bible. Now is the acceptable time! Today is the day of salvation! “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion” (Heb. 3:15, EHV.)
How do we obtain salvaiton? That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Rom. 10:9, ESV).
My urgent prayer for all of humanity on today is that we "WILL" be ready when Christ return.
DO YOU HEAR GOD’S MERCY CALLING YOU?
Seeking a “Refuge” for my soul! Where could I go but to the Lord
God bless!
