Hebrews 6:19 A "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
Life is unpredictable, especially in waters that quickly shift from calm to sudden storms of worry, change, and difficult transitions that leave us feeling completely adrift.
When the noise of uncertainty and anxiety magnifies itself and the world goes quiet, the internal storms of life’ seashores often seem to get louder, but the good news tonight is that we as believers are never left to the mercy of our circumstances. We have an unshakeable anchor in Christ alone.
The gale may howl, but because your soul is anchored in Jesus, you will not drift away.
I leave you with this reflection question: What area of your life feels a bit stormy right now, and how can you intentionally hand that specific worry over to Jesus who is the Anchor of our soul?
An anchor's true purpose is never realized in calm waters. It doesn't promise that the waves will quiet down, but it guarantees that you won't drift away. You can rest in the chaos simply because you know who is holding you. Yes! Jesus got you!
The storm may have the power to blow, but the anchor has the power to hold. Keep chewing right here!
Good God Almighty!
Jesus IS the "ANCHOR" in life's deep waters and stormy seas!
God bless!
