Ecclesiastes 3:1 — “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

Every single day, we wake up to a world that feels a little different than the day before. The good news is the fact that life moves by the deliberate, appointed time of a loving God.

Just as the earth rotates through four seasons, our souls rotate through spiritual and emotional climates. There are seasons of building and tearing down, of weeping and laughing.

As humans, we sometimes make the mistake of trying to live in a season God has already closed, or rushing into one we aren't prepared for yet. When life feels delayed, Lord, help us to rest assure that our all-knowing God is never in a hurry, and you will make it happen in the season You has appointed for us.

People of God, when the world shifts with uncertainty, let us anchor our hearts into the hands of our Unchanging King. Let us trust and lean on Jesus who is faithful to do just what He promised for us.

If the Good Lord kept us through the shifting sand of our past, He will hold us steady through whatever comes tomorrow.

Lord, help us to trust Your timing, even when the clock seems slow to us. Give us the wisdom and grace to walk alongside You knowing that every season of our lives shows up exactly on time.

People of God, wait on the Lord and be of good courage! God’s appointed time for us is never late!
