2 Corinthians 9:15: "Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift."
Have you ever received a gift that completely took your breath away? A gift so spectacular, so unexpected, or so deeply meaningful that when you opened it, you couldn’t even find the words to say thank you?
The Apostle Paul finds himself in that exact position. When Paul calls Jesus the "Indescribable Gift," he is declaring that human language is not adequate to fully capture the magnitude of who Jesus is.
Think about the nature of this gift: It is free, yet it cost God everything. It is the gift that keeps on giving, and it will never fade, break, or lose its value.
To truly appreciate this gift, however, you must first realize your need for it. Without it, we are all hopeless, lost, and sitting in spiritual darkness, awaiting destruction.
We see this reality clearly when we look at the world today. It is filled with chaos, confusion, heartbreak, and uncertainty because everything in this life is temporary. Our money, our status, our health, and our very lives are passing away.
Because life is short in comparison to eternity, God is sending forth a clarion call to the world today. Time is winding up, and it is time to come to Jesus!
Have you accepted Jesus, or have you rejected Him? Where do you stand right now in your relationship with Jesus the Christ? This is the most important question we will ever have to answer.
If you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior in your life, comment with a “Amen” below.
Thank you for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on tonight.
God bless!
