Lamentations 3:22-23 - MERCY SAID "NO"

Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed; His compassion do not fail; 23 They are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness.

Are you hurting and in need of God's mercy? Have you tried everything the world has to offer and now find yourself more miserable than ever before? If you answered yes, the mercy of God is calling you.

In the midst of Jeremiah’s lamentation over the sin of Israel, he proclaims God’s faithfulness.

Even in God’s wrath, there is mercy. Even in God’s judgments He is compassionate towards us.

Although life may seem to throw hard and heavy blows at us at times, we have not been consumed or overtaken by them for we are still here.

I urge you all on today to take the time to recognize God's faithfulness in your lives for His compassion towards you and I are new every morning. They never fail, regardless of what we may have to endure! God's love towards us is never ending for it is from everlasting to everlasting!

God’s mercy said no to eternal death for us for our sins.

Think on this for a moment:At Calvary, "MERCY" said "NO" sin would never take control!

God has decided to deal with us in mercy and not wrath. That thought should make your heart a melting pot right now.

Are you in trouble and standing in need of a Savior on today? Try Jesus for He is faithful and He is willing to show you mercy on today.

Believe it or not, our God who is merciful and faithful loves you more than anyone could ever love you. He proved it to you at the cross.

Thank you Jesus "Mercy" said "NO".

God bless.

1 Corinthians 6:20 - Jesus Christ Paid For Our Redemption With Blood

1 Corinthians 6:20-You were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The Apostle Paul reminds us that we were bought with a price. Yes, it cost God something to redeem us.

"We were bought" means that our redemption was not free for God, even thought it was freely given to us.

The price that was paid to redeem us, set us free from the wrath and penalty of sin and reconcile us back to God was the cost of "Blood" which was shed by God's own Son, Jesus Christ at Calvary while we were yet sinners who were separated from God because of our sins.

Hebrews 9:12-14 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The Apostle Paul describes himself this way in Romans 1:1-Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach His Good News.

If you have been redeemed by the blood of Christ, here is what scripture says concerning you in 1 Corinthians 6:19- Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own?

Have you accepted God's payment for your redemption? If not, I exhort or plea with you on today to make Jesus your choice. He is calling you to trust Him with your future and your life now and in eternity.

Remember, you and I are not our own for we were bought with a price!

Our redemption was paid with blood, therefore, we rejoice and be glad in it.

God bless and I love you all.

Psalm 34:21 - Evil Will Eventually Destroy Itself

Psalm 34:21 Evil will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.

We are living in a world where “evil” has become common place. No thought against it, just a constant moving forward with it. Oh, what a terrible place to be in your mind.

In a battle with the enemy? Trouble on every hand? Does the enemy attack appears to be relentless? No need to fear, worry nor fight, but trust God instead, because power belongs to God!

Believe it or not, but evildoers will eventually destroys themselves. The ungodly only need enough rope to hang themselves. Their own iniquities shall be their punishment.  Yes, wickedness is it's own executioner. The evildoers wickedness, though designed against others, shall destroy him or herself.

Fear no evil for thou art with you says the Lord.

The Psalmist in this text gives a contrast between the righteous and the wicked, for He said” the wicked will be slain by evil, they will be destroyed by their own wickedness, they suffer affliction and God's wrath and because of their hate for the righteous, they will be condemned.”

We are reminded in Psalm 37:7-Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

God does not promise us immunity from trouble or schemes of the evil one, but He promises to be with us in them. Psalm 34:19-Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Let not evil be your pathway in life, but let the love of God, peace of God and the light of God shine in and through you, so that God will receive the glory out of our lives.

Regardless of what type of evil circumstance or evildoer you may be dealing with on today, when you have done all you can, "Stand” on the promises of God's Word. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.

Yes, evil has escalated to a higher level in the world today, but evil will not prevail because the Lord our God forever reigns. POWER BELONGS TO GOD!

God is not mocked, what we sow, we WILL reap! Vengeance is mine says the Lord!

Know this: what the enemy meant for evil, God will work it for your good.

Remember, evil will eventually destroy itself.

God bless.

Psalm 91:4 Are You In Need Of A Hiding Place

Psalm 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers,  and under His wings you shall find protection; His faithfulness shall be your shield and wall.

Sometimes in life it seems as though everything that could go wrong sometimes seems to do just that, but in reality everything that could go wrong doesn’t. It just seems that way under the pressures and stresses of life’s issues and circumstances at the time we are going through them.

To people around the world that is looking for a sense of security, the Psalmist  sends forth a word of comfort to you on today.

The Psalmist reminds all of us of how great and wondrous is our God.  He goes on to declare God’s promise to all of us that our God is a refuge and fortress. Yes, He is our shelter in life’s storms and He will cover us with His feathers for under His wings is a place of refuge.

This promise to be sheltered by God is for those who are His. Those who have been redeemed by faith.

The question to be answered on today is “Who is Jesus to you?” Is He your Savior? If He is, you can boldly proclaim that He is your refuge and your fortress.

The truth that I want to leave you with today is the promise of God that if you belong to Him, He promises to cover you with His feathers,  and under His wings you shall find protection; His faithfulness shall be your shield and wall.

Are you in need of a hiding place on today? God is it!

It is under the shadow of His Almighty Wings where you can run and find shelter.

God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for being a shelter in the storms of life.

James 4:14- Life Is A Vapor That Appears For A Little While Then It Is Gone

James 4:14- whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? It is just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

The Apostle James reminds us that life is short. He describes it as a vapor, a mist, a fog that appears for a little while then it is gone.

Indeed life is full of uncertainties and unexpected circumstances.

Because life is short, the time to stay connected or get connected to God is now for evil is on every hand around the world.

Life is a vapor that appears for a little while and then it's gone. In other words, life is short and no man knows the day nor the hour when our life on this side will be over. Even if we lived 100 years what are those years in comparison to eternity?

Why should we hold on to Jesus for life? Because life is a vapor that appears for a little while and then it is gone.

Jesus is our only eternal hope. Hold on to Him saints.

Ponder these words on today.

God bless.

John 14:15 Do You Truly Love The Lord

John 14:15 - “If you love Me, keep My commandments.

God has a question for all of us on today? Do we truly love Him?

If we truly love the Lord, the results would be the keeping of His Word in our lives.

God deserves our love and He is worthy of our love. Our Love for Him should not because of what He has done for us, but because of who He is.

Loving God means wanting God, preferring Him above all else, esteeming Him, admiring Him and treasuring Him.

Loving God is about being in a personal relationship with Him.

Even when we did not love Him nor seek a relationship with Him, he yet sill loved us beyond limits. He went as far as dying on the cross just to prove His love for humanity.

Jesus told His disciples "If you love Me, keep My commandments." These profound words of Jesus was spoken to His disciples just prior to His crucifixion and I speak them to you on today.

Loving Jesus goes beyond our emotional feelings. Loving Jesus means surrendering to the power of the Holy Spirit in His attempt to transform our heart, mind, soul and character into the likeness of Christ.

We can only love Jesus and keep His commandments when we daily allow our will to be submitted to God's will for our lives.

Loving God requires putting on the mind of God. How do we do that? Through the Word of God, the leading of the Holy Spirit and prayer.

Philippians 2:5-Let this mind be in you which is also in Christ Jesus.

Obedience to Jesus command is a true test of our "LOVE" for Him.

Love is the basis of our relationship with God. His love has been manifested  to us in the Gift of Jesus Christ and our love for Him is manifested in obedience to His commands.

Do you truly love the Lord? OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS!!

God bless you.

Jeremiah 29:11 God Has A Plan Greater Than The One You Can See

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Indeed, God has a plan that is greater than the one we see everyday with our natural eyes.

During this time in Israel history, they were in Babylon captivity due to disobedience.

The Jewish people had been warned by one Prophet of God after another about rebellion, idolatry and disobedience to God. God had warned them over and over again to turn away from pagan idol worship and time after time again, they refused.

Because of the Jewish people's  refusal to turn away from idolatry, God promised judgment upon them and in this text, that judgment had already come. They were taken captive by their enemies, the Babylonians and dragged off from Jerusalem to Babylon as captives.

In this life there are consequences for everything we do, be it good or evil. We all reap the harvest of the seeds we have sown.

In the midst of captivity, God sends forth a "Word" of comfort and hope to His people Israel by the Prophet Jeremiah and it says "For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

There is indeed a plan greater than the one we can see with our natural eyes. God's plan is greater than our plans, His thoughts are greater than our thoughts and He alone knows what is best for us.

Regardless of what you may be going through on today, know that God is thinking about you and He has a plan for your future that is full of His "goodness and mercy".

Thank God for His "GRACE AND MERCY" on this morning for they are indeed sufficient for us.

God does have a plan for us that is greater than the one we can see.

Luke 12:8-9 Are You Acknowledging Jesus Or Denying Him Before Men

Luke 12:8-9 I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him will the Son of Man also confess before the angels of God. 9- But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.

Many of the people that Jesus dwelt among did not accept Him as "God" in the flesh, but as a Prophet sent by God even after all the signs, wonders and miracles Jesus performed,  many people who were around during his stay on earth still refuse to acknowledge Him as the Son of God.

Let us not look to hard and deep into the hearts of those who did not acknowledge Jesus because many today are still doing the same in their refusal to acknowledge Him in fear of " other people’s opinion".

The call today is to confess Christ before men with our mouth and in our actions. If we choose to deny Him before men, Jesus says "He will deny us before His God.

Acknowledging Jesus means that we acknowledge Him as the “Sovereign God”, we acknowledge and submit in obedience to his “Kingship” and rule over our lives, His teachings, His truth (Word),  His ways, and His instructions to name a few.

Is other people's opinion causing you to deny Jesus before men? If you answered yes to this question, Jesus says this to you in Luke 12:4-5 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Are you acknowledging Jesus or denying Him before men? This question stands straight in the face of everyone of us on today. We all must give an answer to this question.

Ponder these questions on today. The answer to them will help you prepare for your eternal destination. Yes, you will be the only one to choose where you will spend eternity.

God bless you all.

2 Timothy 2:13 A Call To Be A Faithful Soldier For He Who Calls Us Is Faithful

2 Timothy 2:13 - If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

The Apostle Paul writes to Timothy, His son in the Gospel, to inform him that he needs to entrust God's Word to faithful men who will teach others.

Timothy is to endure hardship as a Soldier himself and is then required to remind the people He is to entrust the Gospel to of this "faithful saying" that is found in vs# 11-13 of this text. If we die with Him, we shall also live with Him. 12 If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will will deny us. 13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

People of God, we are given an assurance on this morning that even when we are unfaithful, God is faithful and can not sway from it because "Faithful" is He.

Yes, our God is eternally "Faithful" in who He is, what He does and what He says.  Regardless if we choose to put our faith in Him or not, God changes not!

If and when we are faithless, God is still Faithful.

Whatever you may be suffering because of Christ you have an assurance on this morning that God is and forever will be "Faithful" concerning you if you are faithful to Him for Faithful is He and He can not deny Himself.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God shall stand forever.

God is faithful, and if we are faithless He will remain faithful for He cannot deny Himself.

God bless you.
