Psalm 146 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul!
2 While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises unto my God while I have my life.
3 Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. 4 His breath leaves him, and he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish.
5 Blessed is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, 6 who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faithfulness forever,7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord releases the prisoners.
8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord raises those who are brought down; the Lord loves the righteous. 9 The Lord preserves the sojourners; He lifts up the fatherless and widow, but on the way of the wicked He brings disaster.
10 The Lord shall reign forever, your God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise you the Lord!
Who is God and why should we serve Him? He is Godwho is the maker and creator of all things. God of the universe who is Mighty in Power and Mighty in Battle.
El Eloheim, The LORD GOD, The LORD thy Redeemer, GOD of my Salvation, I AM, Jehovan Adon Kol Ha-arets, Jehovan Jireth, Jehovah Melech Olam, The LORD, the Lord of all the earth, The LORD King forever, just to name a few.
Scripture declares to us on today people of God that our God is The"Sovereign God" who is an "Abundant Helper" in whatever area we find ourselves in need of Him this day and every day!
God has a purpose and plan in EVERYTHING that He allows. Will we understand them all? Absolutely not! But, this is where our faith and trust in God must kick in more than ever.
People of God, we have many reason to lift up holy hands and praises unto our God and not unto man for scripture declares that man's breath leaves him and he returns to the earth and all his plans perish with him. But, blessed is the man or woman who trust the Lord for He shall save them.
People of God, the Lord our God is worthy for He is an "ABUNDANT HELPER" even in the time of trouble.
Trust God on today! Go into your secret closet and talk to Him for He is waiting to hear from you.
God bless.
