Hebrews 10:23 Keep The Faith

Good evening, God’s people!

Our scripture tonight comes from Hebrews 10:23, which tells us: "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)"

Today we are reminded that our faith will be tested. God's Word calls us to “hold on” tight to our faith in all circumstances.

The original audience of this text faced severe persecution, exhaustion, and the temptation to quit. They were tired because they did not see immediate results when they expected them. In their weariness, the author gave them a sharp reminder: Keep the faith!

Keeping our faith requires active, daily effort. If we relax our grip, the contrary winds and currents of this world will drift us out to sea.

Faith in God must be intentional. Yes, we must choose to intentionally hold onto God’s truth every day of our lives, all day long. The adversary does not take any breaks, therefore, we should not also.

People of God, stay connected to God and other believers for support. Iron sharpens iron.

Psalm 46:10 God Is A Right Now Helper

Psalm 46:10- God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

Are you in trouble? Does life feel unbearably hard? Guess what? You don’t have to fake your way through it. You do not have to carry your burdens alone. When everything falls apart, God offers you an unfailing anchor.

God’s Word reminds us that He is a “right now” helper. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Now!

Right in the middle of your chaos, God speaks: “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 NIV).

Being still does not mean giving up. It means dropping your mask and actively trusting God by faith to fix the situation. When you take off the mask, you open the door for His true peace to enter.

People of God, listen for God’s voice tonight!  Stop running. Stop stressing. Start trusting. Why? God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in time of trouble!

People of God, be encouraged on tonight! Let your prayer be, “Lord, when I am overwhelmed lead me to the “ROCK” that is higher than I.

2 Timothy 3:1 An Unshakable Faith In Raging Storms

2 Timothy 3:1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

People of God, there is no denying the reality of the days we are living in. We live in a time that is described in the Bible as perilous. Yet, in the middle of the chaos, God gave His people a blueprint back then, and He is giving that same blueprint to us right now.

God’s Word commands us to grip our faith tightly during raging storms. We do not do this by relying on our own strength. We grip our faith through constant prayer and the unshakable Word of God. When the winds of life pick up and the waves crash, we must remember a profound truth: the Christian life is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of God.

People of God, we do not have to wait for the world to calm down to experience deep, supernatural peace, because our heavenly Father remains just as loving, protective, and consoling today as He was in generations and years past. He has not changed. His power has not diminished. His love has not faded.

My sisters and brothers, be encouraged tonight! Stand firm, keep your eyes on the Savior, and let His peace guard your heart. No matter how loud the storm rages, our Anchor holds.

People of God, choose today to keep your mind stayed on Jesus and you will find a joy that the world cannot take away.

God bles you all and thnak you for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on tonight.

1 Samuel 16:11 You Are Not Forgotten

1 Samuel 16:11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.”

Are you feeling forgotten by God right now? Guess what? You are not! God knows exactly where you are.

I wonder if David ever felt that way when he tended his father’s sheep while his older brothers stayed inside the house.

While reading David’s story, it appears to the natural eye that he was often overlooked and unnoticed. He was just the young shepherd watching over his father’s flock.

One day, God sent the Prophet Samuel to the house of Jesse to anoint Israel’s future king. When Samuel visited at God's command, David was the last son anyone would have thought to be chosen.

After Jesse paraded all seven of his older sons before Samuel, the prophet asked him, “Are these all the sons you have?” Jesse replied, “There is still the youngest, who is tending the sheep.”

"David, the one who appeared to be of little importance and was not initially invited to stand before the prophet, was finally called in. Scripture tells us Samuel anointed him with oil, but tradition beautifully adds that while the oil refused to flow for his older brothers, it poured freely over David's head, signaling God's choice." Good God Almighty!

To the person visiting here tonight who feel that you are overlooked: rest assured that God knows where you are, and He has an appointed time for your elevation. Keep praying, serving, worshiping, and giving God the glory! Your day of elevation is closer than you think.

Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.

Keep the faith and hold on, because your change is coming!

Matthew 11:28 The Bridge Called Saturday Morning Rest

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

People of God, Exhale! You made it!

 This morning, Saturday, July 18, 2026 God is calling us out of a hectic week and inviting us into a space of spiritual rest.

Saturday is more than just a day off, it’s a bridge that stands right between the demands of our busy workweek and worship on tomorrow, when we will gather with the people of God for prayer, worship, and service unto the Lord our God.

In turn, we will find peace and rest!

Job 23:18 God Knows The Way I Take Even In My Suffering

Job 23:18“But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I do not find him. 9 When he is at work in the north, I do not see him; when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him. 10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold."

When life's storms hit, we all ask: "Does God care? Does God even know what I am going through?"

Have you convinced yourself that God is unaware of the path you are walking? Have you ever asked yourself, "Is my pain completely unbeknown to God?"

Job’s experience is one we can all relate to. He searched for God in every direction, forward, backward, left, and right but found nothing but silence.

Our temporary blindness does not equal God's permanent absence. Even when we lose sight of God, He never takes His eyes off us.

You may lose sight of the God who is testing you in the dark. But the Goldsmith never takes His eyes off the gold in the fire.

Be encourage on tonight people of God! The Lord your God knows exactly where you and I are.

Psalm 23:1-4 The Lord Our God Is Our Shepherd And Safe Place

Psalm 23:1-6 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2  He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff,  they comfort me.

We live in a world where we are surrounded by stress, bad news, and uncertain futures. Our natural instinct is to try and control everything, which only leaves us exhausted.

Thousands of years ago, King David wrote a song during his own times of deep crisis. He didn't look to his military power for safety. Instead, he looked up and said: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." So when David said this he is acknowledging how completely reliant he is on one God as his Shepherd. ‘I shall not want’ because God, as a good shepherd, will ensure I have EVERYTHING I need.

The same Shepherd who gives us rest also walks with us through our darkest valley experiences. Because He is our safe place in times of pain, He calls us to fear no evil.

God, our Shepherd, is always a safe place. He promises to never leave you nor forsake us.

People of God, be encouraged on today because the same Shepherd who gives rest, walks with us through our valley experiences in life.

Luke 18-1-5 Be Persistent In Prayer

Luke 18:1-5 Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary. “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’”

The Gospel writer Luke introduces this story by stating that Jesus shared it so His disciples would know that they "should always pray and not lose heart."

In this parable, Jesus uses a widow who refuses to take "no" for an answer from an unjust judge to show us the absolute necessity of persistent prayer. This woman demonstrates exactly what it looks like to keep seeking God by faith, even when facing delays or when it feels as if God is silent, which we know He is not.

Unlike the unjust judge, God is a loving Father who actively desires to bring justice, vindication, and healing to His children. However, He often delays His answers to grow, stretch, and mature our faith and endurance.

Are you persistent in prayer, or only occasional? Are you feeling discouraged even now? Wait on the Lord and be of good courage!

Galatians 5:1 A Different Kind of Independence: The Threefold Freedom of Christ

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

While we celebrate our national independence today, we rejoice most in the eternal liberty found in Christ alone. Galatians 5:1 tells us that our freedom wasn't an accident, it was the very purpose of Christ’s work.

Through Jesus’ sacrifice at Calvary, the Cross releases a threefold freedom for all who believe.

Freedom from the Penalty of Sin:Our independence began when our sin debt was paid in full. Jesus didn't just cover our mistakes; He canceled the legal record of debt that stood against us, nailing it to the Cross once and for all. We are free because the debt no longer exists.: Colossians 2:14

Freedom from Condemnation of the Law: In Christ, we are free from the weight of "never being good enough." The Law no longer condemns us because Jesus fulfilled it on our behalf. Because of His finished work, the courtroom is empty, and there is now no judgment for those who are in Christ Jesus, according to Romans 8:1.

Freedom for a New Life: We were not set free just to be left alone; we were set free to truly live. We are no longer slaves to our past or our old nature. Instead, we are raised with Christ, walking in newness of life on a journey of His grace moving through us every day.  Romans 6:4.

 This Independence Day, remember that your spiritual freedom was bought at a great price with the blood of Jesus!

As Galatians 5:1 commands: Stand firm, don’t go back to the chains of guilt or the heavy yoke of trying to earn God’s love. You are already loved, already forgiven, and already free.

May you walk in true liberty of the Gospel today. Happy Independence Day!

Hebrews 6:19 Jesus, The Soul Anchor

Hebrews 6:19 — "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

"While earthly pursuits like wealth, fame, status, and power are temporary, losing your soul is an eternal loss.

Mark 8:36-37 warns, "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his soul?" No worldly trade is worth the cost of your eternal destination.

When temptations arise to compromise your faith for fleshly desires or man approval, remember that the world cannot hold you when the storms hit.

You need a "anchor" that cannot be moved. Jesu is that secure and steadfast anchor.

The temporary applause of this world will eventually fade, but the hope found in Jesus remains unbroken.

We all have a choice: the Eternal God, or the world. As scripture reminds us, no man can serve two masters.

Stop drifting. Drop your anchor in Christ!

Yes, He is the one! Choose ye this day whom you will serve!
