Psalm 100:1-5 Make A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord

Psalm 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth! 2 Serve the Lord with gladness;come before His presence with singing. 3 Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful to Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.

Let all creation make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

God bless.

Romans 8:38-39 Never Separated

romans-8-38-39.jpg

Romans 8:38- 39 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present nor things to come, 39 neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Apostle Paul declares in this text that regardless of what he has suffer, what he may be suffering or what he may suffer in the future, he is convinced that God is with him and He is never separated from God's love.

Paul listed some of the circumstances of life that may appear to make us believe that God is not with us, but, even in them, we must believe and know without wavering in our faith, that God is forever with His people.

Trouble is common and very common among the people of God, but even in the midst of them we have no need to fear for God is with us.

People of God, regardless of what we face as we go through life, nothing we face is able to come between us and the love of God.

If you are not connected to God through Christ and He is not in you, it's not too late for you if you still have breath in your body. Yes, if you are still alive the promises of God can personally become yours also starting right now.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

People of God, we have a blessed assurance on today of God's ever presence love for us in Christ in ALL of life's affairs.

God bless.

1 John 4:9 Fourth Sunday Advent LOVE Candle

1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

The lighting of the 4th advent candle took place today in churches around the world.

What’s “LOVE” got to do with it? Everything! Go and share it with those you encounter from this day forward.

The "LOVE" candle signifies God’s perfect love for humananity that is shown through the gift of His Son, Jesus.

Just as the angels brought "good tidings of great joy," we are called to share that love through kindness, forgiveness, and service.

What is love? Love is a fruit of the Spirit. God is LOVE! It is not that we love God, but He loved us first!

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends," (Jn. 15:13, NIV)

Happy 4th Advent Sunday!

God bless you all!

Isaiah 9:6-7 PEACE Is The 2nd Sunday Word For Advent

Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.

Welcome to the Second Sunday of Advent, which focuses on Peace. Last week our theme focused on the candle of HOPE. It was a reminder to us all that Hope (Jesus Christ) has come, and He is coming again.

Today, December 7, 2025, at my church, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, and other churches around this nation, and the world, the second advent candle of PEACE was lit.

The Candle of “PEACE” reminds us that Christ, the Prince of Peace, came to bring peace to a troubled world in the most unexpected ways, when he arrived.

Hundreds of years before the birth of Christ, the prophet Isaiah foretold, 'For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Do you have the PEACE of God on today? Or, are you in search of peace? Over 2k years ago our access to God’s perfect peace was made available to us at the birth of Jesus.

This candle of PEACE calls us to seek peace within our own hearts, to share it with others, to reconcile with others, and to pray for peace in our families, communities, nations, and our world.

May the light of Christ PEACE within us inspire us this advent season, to be channels of God's peace as peacemakers in a world that that is in desperate need of PEACE.

This Advent season, my prayer is that when faced with trouble and uncertainty, we would choose to drown out the noise of our surroundings and look to Christ as our source of “PEACE.”

People of God, we can rest assured in the blessed assurance of the “PEACE” of God that is with us. He is Jesus, and He lives in us by way of His Holy Spirit. Jesus is our Emmanuel, He is our Wonderful Counselor, He is our Mighty God, He is our Everlasting Father, and He is our Prince of Peace.

Jesus’ “PEACE” is a personal gift that God has given to those who believe! Emmanuel, God is with us!

God’s peace is an anchor and a sure foundation!

Peace! Walk in it, live in it, apply it, and thank God for it!

God bless!

Isaiah 7:14 Advent Season Is Upon Us

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give youa sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

The Season of Advent

Advent is a season of waiting and preparation. Advent is unique in the fact that it is inspired by scripture. A season of joy and hope for Christians around the world. Now that Christ was born, we are in a season of waiting with expectation of Christ second coming.

During advent, Christians awaited the birth of Christ, which was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah centuries before it took place (Is. 7:14, NIV).

There are four weeks of Advent, which is a season of preparation for Christmas. Each Sunday of Advent is marked by the lighting of a candle, which is often seen on an Advent wreath. The four weeks represent themes such as hope, peace, joy, and love.

The first coming of our Lord and Savior was to offer salvation to ALL of humanity. “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full" (Jn. 10:10, NIV). A "thief" comes only to steal and kill and destroy, but Jesus said He came to give us life, more abundantly. A life of eternal worth, and spiritual fulfillment.

The Advent colors of purple, pink, and white represent hope, joy, and love, with purple symbolizing penance and preparation, pink representing joy, and white signifying purity and the completion of the season. Purple is the primary color, used for the first, second, and fourth Sundays to signify prayer and reflection, while the third Sunday, or Gaudete Sunday, is marked by the pink candle to show joyful anticipation for Christ's arrival.

There is plenty of darkness in this world. It seems to get closer every day. How we decide to deal with the darkness in our lives, in the world, and in our own souls is a life-defining decision.

Jesus is the light of the world, and He is calling us to bring His light to this dark world.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Say this out loud! I AM THE LIGHT IN THIS DARK WOLRD!

God bless!

Isaiah 40:3 Are You Preparing For The Advent Season

Isaiah 40:3 Listen! I hear the voice of someone shouting, “Make a road for the Lord through the wilderness; make him a straight, smooth road through the desert.

This text before us is a command. A direct command for us to "Prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight".

Now is the time for us to reconsider what the season of Advent is all about. It’s about Jesus, the celebration of His first coming, and preparing for His second coming.

Preparing the Way! Advent is about preparation. Preparation of our lives, our hearts, mind, body, and souls. A total surrender of ourselves to the Lord our God.

What obstacles are there that you need to remove so that you may make straight the path for the Lord in your life?

At Christmas time, we often prepare the house, the decorations, the food, the gifts, but we forget to prepare ourselves, our hearts and minds, body, and spirit to be with the Lord.

People of God, make a commitment to spend time each morning during Advent preparing your heart, mind, body and soul for the coming of Jesus Christ.

This advent season, I am looking forward to hearing what preparations you not only made, but enacted in your daily life.

Prepare ye the way of the Lord!

 God bless!

Romans 8:28 There Is Purpose In The Pain

Romans 8:28 We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Perhaps you are visiting here tonight and you’re walking through a time of pain, suffering, doubt, or silence. What we must remember when these emotions show us is the fact that we belong to God, and we are not alone in this valley.

Jesus is our Savior, King and Lord. You can not afford to turn back. Why? You belong to Him!

God's presence is a source of strength and comfort, and He has a purpose for difficult times, which is often used to refine our faith and build resilience.

The circumstances of our lives are not sent to hurt us, but to strengthen us. God uses pain, suffering, and hardships to not only shape believers, but to make us more resilient and Christ-like. Just as a blacksmith uses fire and pressure to shape metal, difficult circumstances can be seen as the "fingers of God" shaping our individual's character.

The existence of pain does not diminish the sovereign power of our God in our lives! Yes, He is still working behind the scene for our good.

Indeed, there is purpose in our pain!

Thank you all for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on tonight!

God bless each of you!

Hebews 6:19 Jesus Is Our Anchor Of Hope

Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, which enters the Inner Place behind the veil.

Life brings with it, test, trials and tribulations, but God’s promise does not change. Instead, they remain steadfast concerning you and I. God promises to be with us, to strengthen us, and to never leave nor forsake us.

People of God, this text before us reminds us that Jesus is the anchor of our souls, even in the midst of life’s storms! Jesus is indeed a sure and steadfast anchor for our soul. Jesus as our anchor means that He provides stability and security through life's challenges.

The anchor symbolizes a source of stability and strength that prevents believers from "drifting" or being overcome by the difficulties in life, much like an anchor keeps a ship steady in a storm.

Christians today have this hope that Christ is our Anchor! God word changes not, and His promises are true!

Christ as our anchor means that our faith in Jesus provides a firm foundation, peace, and confidence, even in times of trouble.

People of God, when you don’t know where to turn, remember that God’s Word is a guide you can trust. His promises never fail, and that truth is the anchor that is guaranteed to hold you together if you could only believe.

People of God, when the storms of life that are guaranteed to come our way shows up, know that God’s promises are just as true today as they were thousands of years ago.

The hope that is set before us as an anchor of our soul is that Jesus Christ has already gone before us into the holy of holies where God dwells in glory. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's presence in the inner sanctuary.

Thank you for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on tonight!

God bless you all!

Psalm 91:1-2 Safe In God's Presence Alone

Psalm 91:1-2-MEV- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

Are you in need of a secret place right now? Do you need shelter from the stormy seas of life? God’s presence is an everlasting hiding place. Yes, it is in God’s presence alone where true safety is found.

This "secret place" that the psalmist invites us to is a spiritual dwelling of intimacy and trust, where human weakness meets divine grace. It is a place of protection found in a committed relationship with God.

God as our secret place is an assurance on tonight that our security rests on His unchanging nature, not on any works we perform.

This secret place under the shadow of God’s wings is where we find peace and sustaining power through life's challenges now and in the future.

When we make God’s presence our secret place to dwell daily, we will find confidence, hope, peace and joy, even in a world that calls us for more of it and less of God.

People of God, "I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust” (Ps. 91:2, MEV).

As a mother covers her child, the Lord our God wants to cover you! Will you run to Him? “God is our refuge and strength; a present help in time of trouble” (ps. 46:1, NIV).

Have your way in and through us Lord!

We need you, Father!

Amen!

Psalm 30:5 Joy Will Come In The Morning

Psalm 30:5 For His anger endures but a moment, in His favor is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

This world is filled with sadness, sorrow, sin, and the darkness that comes from it in so many different ways, but the word of God is clear when He says '“weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”

To those of you who are visiting here on today that may be feeling burden down with the cares of this world, through this text, God is whispering a promise to you even now that says “this won’t last forever, it’s just temporary.” God’s anger is just for a moment, but his favor is eternal.

Keep your eyes stayed on Jesus! I will admit that dark nights can last a while, but there is hope and joy to be found when you know Jesus. People of God, the Lord our God is the lifter of our heads! He is with us, even during our darkest nights, and He is with us in our times of fear and anxiety.

It is during the difficult times in life that we must remind ourselves that God is with us, and that He has a good plan for our lives. Plans to give us a hope and a future in Him if we do not give up and quit now.

People of God, the Lord our God desires that we seek Him with all of our hearts. It is at this place in our hearts and mind where we will find God and His plans for our lives unfolding.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that even now this text would take root in the hearts and mind of all those that are weeping even now. Those whose hearts and minds are full of sorrow and sadness. Fill them with your hope Lord Jesus, remind them that weeping may endure for a night but ”JOY” comes in the morning, which is your appointment time in our lives.

I pray now Lord that you will fill the hearts and minds of your people with joy unspeakable. Remove all sorrow and sadness Lord from their hearts and mind, and give them a mind that is stayed on you.

Remind us Lord that we are not alone because you are with us!

We thank you Lord for your everlasting love and presence with us. Help us to keep our hearts and mind stayed on you through Christ Jesus.

Lord, we leave this place with hearts of thanksgiving, for we know that weeping may endure for a night but “JOY” will come in the morning!

Thank you, Lord, for being our ever presence help in time of trouble!

We love you, Lord Jesus!

Amen!
