Isaiah 41:10 Build Your Hope In Jesus

Isaiah 41:10“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

A message of hope and assurance of God’s ever presence with His people. Fear not!

There is only one refuge from the storms, troubles, and cares of this world. His name is Jesus. He is our strong tower, the one and only true and living God who is Creator and sustainer of all that exists. The Lord our God is the Great I am.

Though our hearts may feel overwehelmed, afraid or full of anxiety at times, our God is Mighty, and He is Highly lifted up above all the earth.

My prayer is that we continue to trust God everyday for He promises to “never leave nor forsake us.

People of God, I want to remind us of this truth: We are not alone as we face life’s problems. No matter what we go through, be it serious illness, financial difficulties, loneliness, a wayward child, or even broken promises and dreams, God is there with us, and He makes all the difference when we know this truth.

God is calling us today to come out of dismay because we have no reason to live there. God promises to keep us, be with us, and strengthen us through ALL of life’s stormy seas. We can count on God to do just what He says.

I’m so grateful for a God who understands everything that we go through in life. The good news is that He is always there for us, and He sees all that we go through as He guides us by His Word and His Spirit in the direction we should God with Him, even in the darkest times of uncertainty.

In Christ alone is where our hope is found! Wherever we go, God is there!

God bless each of you, and thank you for enjoying the ride here tonight with Jesus.

Remember! Emmanuel is God with us!

Philippians 4:6-7 Be Anxious For Nothing

Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God.

Worry is a common human experience. We worry about our health, finances, future, family, and many other aspects of life,

People around the world today are struggling with overwhelming anxiety from worry.  It’s everywhere, and when it shows up it can easily consume our every thought by filling our hearts and minds with fear and worry.

When the Apostle Paul wrote “Be anxious for nothing” he was a prisoner in Rome. Paul had many reasons to be anxious himself because he knew that his execution could happen any day, but instead of being anxious himself, he was encouraging so many others not to be.

Apostle Paul says “Be anxious for nothing, but in prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” It’s like he’s saying to us that instead of being anxious, be prayerful. The path to peace is in prayer. Tell God all about it, instead of worrying about it.

As Christians, we don’t have to be afraid of anything because we know that “all things work together for the good of those who love God” (Rom. 8:28, NIV).

People of God, the Lord our God uses all circumstances of life, be it good or bad, for His glory and our personal growth. Knowing this truth, we can rejoice in the Lord always.

When Jesus taught his disciples how to pray in Matthew 6, He instructed them to ask God for what they need.

Perhaps you are visiting here and you are worried about your upcoming doctor's appointment, a sick child, failing marriage, unemployment, lack of finances, an important decision that you need to make, etc., take it to the Lord in prayer.

God bless you all and thank you for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on tonight.

Pray ye for one another!

Philippians 2:3-4 Putting Others Above Self

Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

This Memorial Day as we reflect on our military veterans who have sacrificed thier lives so that we can enjoy freedom in this country cannot fully be explained. Their willingness to sacrifice thier life so someone else can live is beyond human reasoning! WOW!

The word of God reminds us to remember those who labor before us. In Joshua 4:7, God commanded the Israelites to set up stones as a memorial so that future generations would not forget the great works He had done. In a similar way, we remember the valor and courage of our fallen heroes. Their stories, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment serve as a reminder of the price paid for our freedom.

Memorial Day reminds us of the cost of liberty. It is a day to reflect upon the extraordinary courage and selflessness displayed by our fallen heroes, and also, the selfless display of Jesus, who also willingly gave of Himself unto death, for the saving of the “souls” of all of humanity.

We not only honor our military for the sacrifice of their lives for freedom in this county, but we also honor our Savior Jesus who sacrificially gave His life so that the entire world could be saved and spend eternity with Him and God the Father in heaven, if they confess and believe, caccording to Romans 10:9.

Happy Memorial Day To You All

God bless!

Matthew 21:12-13 Cleansing The Temple

Matthew 21:12-13 Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who sold and bought in the temple and overturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who sold doves. 13 He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it ‘a den of thieves.

The next day after the Jewish Passover Jesus went up to Jerusalem to the temple and he found people selling doves. Among these merchants were money changers seated at the tables also.

Having seen His Father’s house set up as a market place for financial gain and corruption, instead of a house of prayer and worship, Jesus became very angry and overturned the tables, as He condemned them for making the Lord Holy Temple a den of thieves, as He described it.

Those being condemned were the money changers and merchants who were exploiting poor people by charging excessive prices and profiting from religious rituals.

In calling those in the temple that day “robbers or thieves,” Jesus was also speaking to the religious leaders who allowed God’s holy and sacred place of worship to be used as a den of thieves or robbers.

The people in the temple that day had lost sight of the temple’s true purpose. Jesus’ intervening in the situation reminded them that holiness mattered far more than human plans.

As believers today, we are now God’s temple, and His Spirit dwells within us. “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? 20 You were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1Cor.6”19-20 MEV).

Lord, empower us by your spirit to daily walk in newness of life that you gave us at the point to salvation by your spirit. Guide our thoughts Lord so that your presence may dwell in us and among us. Let our actions Lord bring glory to your name. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us Lord, in Jesus’ name. Amen

God bless you people of God! Remember, our body is the temple of the Lord!

Psalm 46:10 Be Still And Know I Am God

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God;  I will be exalted among the nations,  I will be exalted in the earth.

Be still!  A command from God to His people. Ths is not a stillnes to inactivity, but a call to quiet our souls. Be anxious about nothing, so that we may hear what the spirit has to say to us.

In the midst of anxiousness, turmoil, or even uncertainty, we are called to trust that God is with us, and that He is our source of strength in whatever we are dealing with.

As we take time to be still before God on today, let us surrender our worry and anxiety to Him, knowing that it is His desire to remove all worry and anxiousness from us.

The truth is that troubles affect us all. Trouble can strike at any time and destroy any sense of stability that we may have, but God is with us!

God is reminding us that as we learn to be still and know that He is God, we can find peace, rest, comfort, strength and assurance in Him.

Be still and know that I am God! In other words, take time to quiet our minds and heart so that we can allow God’s presence to fill us with His spirit, His peace, strength, and assurance of His presence with us.

People of God, find a quiet place to be with the Lord today. Jesus often stole away from the crowds to find time to be with God, either on a mountain, in the garden, the hills of galilee, or the sea. Let us also find room for Christ daily so that we may clear out all the clutter in our minds, and focus on God and what He is saying to us.

Our God is God from the beginning to the end! He is our God, and our very present help in time of trouble!

People of God, today is our day of turnaround, therefore we WILL be still so that we may hear what the Spirit of God is saying to us.

Thank you for enjoying the ride with Jesus here on today.

God bless you all!

Psalm 139: 7-12 God Is Always Present With Us

Psalm 139:7-12 Where shall I go from Your spirit, or where shall I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning and dwell at the end of the sea, 10 even there Your hand shall guide me, and Your right hand shall take hold of me.11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me, and the light shall be as night about me,” 12 even the darkness is not dark to You, but the night shines as the day, for the darkness is like light to You.

Are you feeling alone or abandoned? Guess what? If you are, I have some good news to share with you! God wanted me to tell you that you are NOT alone! He is with you wherever you go! This is indeed good news to all those who are feeling lonely and or alone.

God’s spirit is inside of you, therefore God is always with you! Yes, your body is the temple where God’s spirit dwells” 1 Cor. 6:19, MEV).

God is “omnipresence!” This means that there is no place where God is not at all times. He is everywhere all the time! Isn’t that good news!

The Psalmist David ask several rhetorical questions in this text, and in doing so, He is making a statement of God’s everpresene with us.

Whenever the enemy of your mind shows up with his lies about God not being with you, remind yourself that the Lord your God is with you when you rise, lie down, when you go to the grocery store, when you go on a walk, when you go to work, church, or anywhere else, God is there!

Emmanuel! God with us!

Psalm 95:6-7 Come Worship The Lord

Psalm 95:6-8 O come, let us worship and bow down;  let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. 7 For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.Today if you hear His voice,
8 do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah, and as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,

This text is an invitation to worship the true and living God, who is our creator.  We are called to kneel and bow our hearts in worship to the Lord in songs.

The call to worship is a posture of our heart that reveals reverence, humility and recognition of God’s authority over all of creation, including us.

What’s interesting about this call to worship God is that we are called to corporate worship as a body of believers. This means that we must not forsake the assembling of ourselves together at the House of God. We must meet together as much as possible. We are the Christian community of God’s people.

The command is to sing to the Lord in His presence, and shout joyfully. In doing so, we are recognizing our own limitations and our need for dependence on God.

We are to worship God with our whole heart. A worship that expresses genuine praise, worship, and adoration to the Lord our God with songs of worship that is free of deceit, or any hidden agendas. Songs of worship to the Lord our God in spirit and in truth.

Guess what? “It is the Lord God who has made us, and not we ourselves.” (Ps. 100:3, MEV) The Lord is our God and we are the sheep of His pasture. There is no other God!

The last thing the psalmist commands of us is to “harden not our hearts” as the Israelites did in the desert. We are being called to recognize and exalt our God with our whole being, and to remember His benefits.

For Christians today, this text challenges us to go beyond just singing praises in church. It calls us to give God the best of what we have, which is our time, talents, and resources. Bringing an offering doesn’t necessarily mean giving material gifts; it can also mean dedicating our lives, our work, and our efforts to God’s glory.

Come let us worship the Lord, feast at His table together! Sing of His goodness!

God bless you all!

2 Timothy 3:1-5 Is The World Transitioning For End Times

2 Tiomthy 3:15 - Know this: In the last days perilous times will come. 2 Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, trucebreakers, slanderers, unrestrained, fierce, despisers of those who are good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Turn away from such people.

The days are evil! The world is transitioning into end times right before our eyes! When will the days of the end times appear? No one knows! One thing we do know is the fact that perilous times are indeed approaching quickly. The root cause of perilous times is ungodliness.

The signs that the Apostle Paul reminded Timothy of thousands of years ago are evident in our world today. Apostle Paul sent a clarion call to Timothy back then, and He is sounding the alarm to us believers on today. Paul told Timothy, and is telling us to pay attention, and understand the time in which we live, for the days are indeed evil.

God bless you people of God! Stay focus, keep believing, keep hope alive, and keep trusting the Lord your God!

There is a crown of life that awaits us in eternity if we do not give up and quit!

God bless you all!

Micah 6:8 We Need Your Mercy Lord

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Mercy is the Hebrew word “rachamim” which means to have compassion, pity, or love tenderly.

As the people of God, the Lord our God has told us what is right and what he demands of us. These are the Lord’s instructions to those who confess Him as Lord and Savior in their lives.

(1) Act justly-To commit to doing what is morally right and fair in every circumstances, even when it is not popular.

(2) To love mercy - This implies ajoint loyalty and faithfulness to love God, which, which is demonstrated in our love towrds others.

(3) Walk humbly with our God - Walking humbly means being mindful of how we live our life before God. A call to a life of service to God, and to put God's will before your own. It involves being open to God's guidance, and recognizing that God is the source of your strength.

This is a clarion call to Christians around the world. A call to an active faith that is lived out with actions and interactions with others and not just with words from our mouth.

People of God, now is the time to put these words into action, and live them out daily in our lives! God expect us to!

Acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God is our commission! No more excuses!

God bless!

Proverbs 4:23 Guard Your hearts

Proverbs 4:23 -Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Guard our hearts! What does the word “guard’ means? The "heart" refers to our innermost being, which also includes our thoughts, emotions, desires, and motivations. Yes, our thoughts are at the center of our being. The place where our true values and beliefs resides, therefore, we must protect our thoughts from negative influences.

The heart in this text is referencing the mind. God, through His Word is warning us to guard our thoughts. Do not allow our hearts (mind) to become polluted from the thoughts of this world, but instead allow our minds to be renewed or transformed by the word of God.

The mind of a man reflects who he or she really is. What we say and do is a reflection of what is in our heart.  What's in our mind determines our attitude, and our action in all circumstances, therefore we must be very careful about what we allow into our mind gate.

Thoughts come to our minds from every angle of life. All day long, we encounter not only our own thoughts and opinions, but those of others as well. For this and many other reason, this is why it is key that we daily study the word of God and pray for guidance as we journey through life each day.

As the people of God, we are reminded in 2 Corinthians 10:5 to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

What we allow to process in our thoughts, be it good or evil, will manifest itself through our words and our actions.

People of God, guard your hearts with all dillgence, for out of it flows the issues of life!

God bless you all, and be encouraged!
